he also wrote the best Freddy Kruger movie... Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors!

and reading that document... HOLY COW. They were getting scripts in 8 WEEKS before shooting? Do you guys have any idea how insane that is in the writing world? Having written on both cable and network TV, I don't think I've EVER gotten a script to the Network earlier then a week before prep... which is usually a week or so before shooting. That's super insane.

and they're claiming they never held tone meetings on ANY script? No way. No way I believe that. That said, if they were having 5 HOUR tone meetings on every script, that's ludicrous as well.

You probably know this already, but some of the scripts for the original Star Trek TV series were even worse than that. It's amazing they even got some of their shows on the air in time.... :)

I am sad to say for whatever reason, I just completely lost interest in this show this season. I never even watched the season premier. I wasn't really unhappy with it, a bit bored of them kindof getting into the same pickle over and over again. But yeah, I still have them all on my DVR but everytime I sit down to watch I'm just like meh.

TV just cant hold my attention anymore unless i can stream it on netflix.

I've liked this season a lot. It'll still be there when you are ready. Episode 2 is tons of fun

its almost here. I have a feeling the second half of this season and the first half of next season are going to be brutal.

How many people that are fans of the show are fans of the comic series? I love the comic but the show is kind of boring nowadays. I liked it at first but now I can hardly be bothered to tune in each week but it's the comic series I look forward to the most each month.

beyond words. I was fast forwarding through most of tonight's episode.

Oh no.. Glen's trapped and can't possibly escape from a 100 walkers again... or can he?!

Rick's plan goes horribly awry... because nothing had happened 1/2 way through the episode and the walkers just decided to finally start eating people? Okay.

And a major character gets shot... IN THE FACE... AT CLOSE RANGE... AND DO THEY DIE?! I'LL BET YOU NEVER GUESS!

Karl getting shot in the eye is straight from the comics.

It seemed like one of those episodes where they wipe the slate clean to start over with a new antogonist.

Why do you still watch it? Death, taxes, and you complaining after every single episode.

I loved this episode. Seems to me to be the ultimate zombie killing episode we've been waiting for since the series started.

excellent episode... it was pretty non stop. Lots of undertones in this one, and some mis direction.
That whole "Negan" thing,...dispatched with ease.....anyone think that aint coming back?

That's actually not true. I really dug the beginning of this season and said through the first three episodes it was the best it's probably ever been... and then really dug the Morgan Begins episode. It was only after that episode that I thought it started sucking massive eggs right around the Glen fiasco.

Outstanding! The dispatch of the Negans at the beginning was AWESOME. I thought for sure they were going to be captured and our trio put through hell. Really enjoyed the whole episode.

Can't wait to watch this tonight! I am not a very good entertainment critic I guess. Even if an episode is bad, I can still enjoy it.

The Negan guys?!?! Awesome start to the episode. In terms of the walkers attacking?

Made sense to me. They were no longer moving and the kid started whimpering, the screaming started etc. I was actually disappointed that Jessie's character wouldn't be sticking around but that is TWD.

In terms of Glenn at first I was like...oh come on...fake out death again? However, if you read the comics, I now think his two fake out death scenes are every purposeful. They want the fans to think Glenn will keep escaping death.

This show just reminded me why it's light years better than FOTW.
