IF AND WHEN HEALTHY...
Where. Was. The. Rocket. Launcher?
Seriously. Why didn't Abe bring that?
Out of rockets...used them on Alexandria zombies.

So much this.

I wonder if the cast even knows who "died"
I guess the actors have to know if they're coming back next season.
Last one to sign is dead. The cynical side of me wonders if this ending has anything to do with contract negotiations and options for next season.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan was awesome. Loved his introduction and the way he delivered his lines.
I wonder who the poor actor is that shows up to work next season only to find out they are killed off. Talk about being nervous about job security.
The word is that final scene, none of the cast was on set. They didn't want the cast to know who was going to die or if it was going to be their character's end to get more emotion out of them in the moments shot before JDM hit a rigging without the cast there. Evidently it worked because emotions were running high on set.
JDM was on talking dead right after the show...they said the entire cast spent two nights,...nearly fifteen hours ...sitting on their knees while he dialogued..... they commented how normally it would be tennis balls,...or paper markers,..or at best a few crew members as markers...but this cast all wanted to be present..... he said he was able to feed off of them a bit because they were being emotional,...really getting into the situation..... he mentioned how for the first two days he was there most of the other actors would not even make eye contact with him..... he seems to love the role and the group of actors he is working with.
It would be markers, or crew members or tennis balls? That sounds like the biggest load of horse manure I've ever heard. A MASSIVE new character starts on the show and the actors opposite him in the scene normally wouldn't be there? That isn't how shows work. The idea that he wouldn't have the main cast members there in his turn of coverage isn't how things like that go down. The level of disrespect towards that actor would be unlike anything I've ever seen on set.
The horse guys were an interesting wrinkle.can I ask why? You knew they were going to reveal Negan and you knew he was going to kill someone. So what exactly did you get out of the Season Finale? There wasn't any surprise... any revelation... any opening up of new storylines (except for the Knights on horses I guess). It was all just one massive stall to get to Negan and that moment... for literally 8 episodes. And then the moment comes... and they stall again?
These cliffhangers are getting a little old. How will Rick and his gang get out of this one? Tune in next week folks!
My wife and I thought for sure that a main character would die this episode, but that doesn't appear to be the case. I'm betting the writers whimp out and that Eugene is the one who ultimately dies since he already gave the plans to Rick for the bullets. Even worse would be Aaron who conveniently tagged along. He might as well have been wearing a red Star Fleet uniform. Glenn, Daryl, or at the very least Abraham needs to die to maintain some integrity.
Oh and I'm sick of Carol and her drastic psyche change. Hope she dies too. But, I'm sure she'll survive 3 bullet wounds w/o proper medical care. That scene was so predictable. Who didn't know Morgan was going to have to kill that guy?
The writers need a shake-up.
I agree...I hope they do not go with an all Carol and Morgan season premier...that would be really weak....
I kinda figured the same with Rick and Carl...kill one,...you have to kill them both...because the other will never be controlled after that.
Killing off Eugene would be a total cop out...really do think it was Abraham,....he was ready to start having babies after all.........
His right hand man that did his lead in was phenomenal as well I thoughtJeffrey Dean Morgan was awesome. Loved his introduction and the way he delivered his lines.

That's what they said...I guess a major part was him just talking into the camera...and they seemed to think it was abnormal for all the other cast members to be right there in their own spots for that type of shooting.
Where has Jesus been? Just chillin at the hilltop like killing that small faction won the war? Maybe he didn't know how big negan is either

Abraham is an important character in the comics, certainly tier 1.
That's one thing I thought too. One of the most important missions of the season and Jesus is AWOL.

That was Steven Ogg. He is popular among Grand Theft Auto fans for his voice acting role as Trevor in GTA V. I thought he was great in this, I hope we get more of him.
...still didn't make up for the cliffhanger for me. I'll be psyched for next season anyway. I think the show is always entertaining, even in weaker episodes.
Scarier than Terminus. More organized than the Governor. Better staying power than the Wolves. The Saviors were supposed to be the game-changing Big Bad™ that would upend the zombie world order as we know it. They’re supposed to be terrifying. Instead, they’re cartoonishly evil and it's hard to be scared of cartoon villains. Case in point: last night, The Walking Dead season finale gave up the pretense of being a dramatic tale of survival in a post-apocalyptic world and became an elaborate Wile E. Coyote prank. The only thing missing was ACME plastered all over the cars and a bucket of paint with which the Saviors could create a new “road” to trick The Group.
