I think it was about 20 or so issues, maybe 25. Negan has more for sure and the story arc is much better at time goes on.

Sorry if I get lost sometimes and dont know what ya'll are talking about, but I know some of you read the comics and I dont want to get anything spoiled I enjoy the suspense too much.
Though I really really want to click that button right now and see what it was, lol, but I'm not gonna!
Wait until you find out this is all Rick's dream and he wakes up and is a vampire! It gets real good then!

Yeah, I wouldn't. I always click them assuming they are about an episode I have seen instead of comic spoilers. FYI I avoid the comic for the same reason and will always stay behind in it or simply read it after so you can always click my spoilers if you are caught up on the show

Not a comic spoiler, just comments on the last episode.
Sigh, Carl. You were walking down the stairs behind Negan and you had Lucille. You could have knocked him dead right in front of everyone. But then, yeah, you didn't shoot him straight away when you had the assault rifle, even though you were willing to shoot the first guy who came into the truck.
The behind-the-scenes episode indicates that at the point above, Carl was maybe under Negan's spell a little bit. Impressed with the power, etc. I don't buy it. Carl watched him murder Glenn and Abraham. There's no spell after that, especially inside of an afternoon.
In any case, I like seeing a bunch of players out in the field. Things are set up nicely for next week.

Seriously, Negan saved from being shot in the face by Lucille ? That's just dumb.
Yep, just plain stupid. They could have done it without making it a complete mockery. Hell even if she fires and the bullet just barely falls out of the gun it would have been better. Hitting Lucille... OMG so stupid.
How hard can it be to kill someone who just walks around like he owns the place? You mean to tell me with 300,000,000 guns in America you can't find one more and hide in a bush till Negan walks by? Bang, game over for Negan...

The walkoff in the final scene was a bit corny , IMO, shades of the 7 Samurai
Agreed.... Wit the exception of the season opener, this year has been disappointingly cartoonish and even boring. I sincerely hope they pick it up in the 2nd half.....

Negan did a hair better in the finale, but I am still struggling with him as a scary bad guy. After whats her face shot at him, I thought he did a good job with his serious/angry response.
I liked the ending. Yes, very sappy, but it feels like a finale for once. No cliff hanger. Its the closing of a chapter (the peaceable appeasement), and when the next episode comes, itll be episode 1 of the new chapter (the resistance).

I shouldn't be trusted with this power
season 7 ep:8 spoilers
it was a good episode, it felt like they rushed the finale after taking their time all season. The fact that they just stood up and decided to fight back was kinda hokey considering nothing at all has changed, they havent learned about the other groups and etc. Considering they have maggie who is supposed to be dead and daryl who escaped, once negan returns home, it is war IMO. He will come back, he will ask for Daryl and he will plan on killing people if they do not surrender him.
In the trailer for ep 9 it shows rick at the kingdom, its a shame they couldnt work that in to this episode before the sudden urge to fight back that way it made more sense. At this time, they pretty much have nothing still so it is odd to have sudden confidence. And then going to tell the hilltop leader they want to fight back? That dude will roll on them in a heartbeat.
One thing i forgot about until this morning, the boot that saw rick take all the stuff from the lake. I wonder if that is the guy that had the lake spot in the first place?
Spencer I thought was going to join the saviors until he went sucking up to negan, as soon as he started bashing Rick I figured Negan would kill him. He has respect for rick either way.
I feel like Eugene is so weak that they will just keep him fed in a room making ammunition and not torture him like they did Daryl.
Surprising as well that the kingdom has not been slaughtered, they just came to an agreement with the saviors. I guess maybe if you dont murder an entire compound of his things wouldnt be so nasty right away. It is funny watching Morgan and Carol talk to the guy about fighting back, they have fought back before but they still have no idea the consequence of those actions.
