How is it frustrating? If you're not a fan of the comics(and by fan I mean you never read them) then finding out who these people are is part of the fun.

I get by from the spoilers you guys post on here. I'm not the most patient guy.

That's my guess as well, he was bit. If so what does that mean for the people who just ate his leg?

It's not like Ebola so I don't know if they would be infected. We know that he's bit though so maybe he will turn and then bite Garrett and co.

Please cook to an internal temperature of 165 degrees to ensure safe, yet moist and tender, survivor-Q.

That's my guess. Fairly certain he was bit.

That's what I thought too. Weird that they didn't mention that on Talking Dead. And yeah, what effect does that have on the hipster and friends munching on Bob?

Maybe eating "tainted meat" starts to turn them? I didn't get the significance of him breaking down right before but I agree with you all. It appears he was bit.

Not sure if you caught it, but right when he turned towards the tree as he was breaking down, you could see his pistol tucked into his waistband in the small of his back.

I was fairly certain he was gonna off himself.

Yep, I was suspicious after he asked for the long kiss. When he went outside and they showed the gun I figured oh crap. I too thought he was bitten and was going to off himself.

However, why only allude to it unless this plays a part later in the story somehow? I find it hard to believe that was just a throw away moment. There has to be some sort of revelation coming about that scene.

what gonna happen to those cannibals that eat a meat infected?
i think he was bitten on his left leg so maybe the cannibals saved him ,probably the amputation preventing the infection to expand.
maybe they ll find out the cure is just about eating zombie meat
is like when u get poisoned by snake bite ,the andidote is a lighter dose of snake poison

You just don't turn. You have to die first. Eating tainted meat might make them sick, I don't know. Also, it's already been established that everyone has the virus in them hence unless you lose your brain at death, you're going to reanimate. But being bitten has long been fatal in most of not all zombie storylines.

Yep, saw that. Plus, the final kiss. I didn't get the significance of the mark on the tree though.

Anyone else find it weird that Bob only realized his leg was bitten AFTER Garrett gave the long speech?

He starts crying and freaking out like 20 mins after he wakes up....did he not notice that he was missing a leg when he first woke up?

yeah... that was a ridiculous TV moment, keeping reality away for the big reveal.

I use spoilers begrudgingly in deference to the viewers who don't watch in real time, yet come on here before they watch delayed. I don't get that.

I figured he was bitten immediately when the scene happened. It was kind of obvious that forcing Gabriel along would result in something bad happening, plus they were not careful treading into water they couldn't see to the ground and just stormed in instead of first maybe luring the zombies out.

I don't like the extensive cannibalism theme going on in the last 2 episodes.

A few things about the being bitten theory. First, if he was indeed bit by one of those disgusting sewage zombies, where is the blood? Why wasn't he limping? And it was a pretty huge coincidence that the Terminus people took the leg that WASN'T bitten, otherwise they wouldn't have eaten the meat and just offed him instead.

I thought I saw a glimpse of the guy that threatened Judith--if Tyrese didn't kill him, that would be an awful revelation--they need to do something with him soon, as he's becoming dead weight.

Did anyone think they went a little overboard on the foreshadowing? Rick saying "I don't trust that guy, I don't trust that guy," then that scene where he tells the guy "I don't trust you, if you screw up I will kill you." I take that as eventually, Rick will end up killing the guy. They couldn't have been more transparent. (Also, the priest said the town was "overrun", but it was completely empty except for the sewage zombies, and nobody noticed?)

And finally, Abraham more and more seems to be an idiot. I can't fathom why he trusts the "scientist" as much as he does.

But there is still a lot to like:

1) Looking forward to the chase of Carol and Daryl after the Hunter vehicle. Beth is coming soon... And this isn't a spoiler because Emily Kinney is on the opening credits, even though she has yet to make an appearance this season.

2) Rick asking Carol if they could join her was a great character moment for both of them.

3) Carl wasn't totally annoying--good sign for the season if they are grooming him to become a leader of the group.

I seriously doubt it but what if the foreshadowing of the Priest was a bit of a red herring? What if Bob was the one that led the Terminus folks to them? Maybe making a deal with the Priest to contact them? Maybe that's why he was suicidal?

I doubt any of that is accurate but it's a theory because I can't explain the lack of blood either. Not to mention if he was bitten in the leg, they would have noticed it via the "snack" they had. I mean who doesn't clean their meat before consumption. :D

I really wish I could explain it to you concerning Fr. Gabriel but I can't without major spoilers. All I can say, not to sound too cryptic, is that things are and are not as they seem. As for Bob, I can tell you that they've morphed the character of Bob(who is in the comics) with that of Dale of the comics. In the comic, it is Dale, not Herschel who loses a leg to being bitten(not to mention that it is Tyreese and not Herschel who is beheaded by The Governor). It is also the one legged Dale who is, once again, bitten then kidnapped by The Hunters and his bitten leg is amputated into a Dale-B-Q. So the bitten question lies in if the producers are indeed giving Bob Dale's comic storyline.

In this context Bob could have been bitten in another body part. In the comic, even though they ate Dale's leg, he had been bitten on the shoulder giving him the infection that eventually kills those who get bit(the re-animation virus is in all of them as established at the end of season 1). Dale used this info as a "joke's on you" sort of delivery. I'd tell you what happened but, again, spoilers.

My curiosity is if it's this week we finally meet Nagan. That's who's car Darryl and Carol were following.

My call on the Padre? He locked his parishioners out and kept all the food to himself. It would explain his horror when meeting the one walker, and it would royally upset any survivors.

I feel like this show finally figured out how to be badass.

Three really strong episodes to start the season.

... crap. I have a lot of catching up to do then. There were moments I really liked this show but Andrea and the Governor killed it for me.

Yea I have liked every episode so far. But they have done it before where they start off great and then bore the hell out of the audience for rest of the season til the finale.

I'm almost expecting and waiting for that boring episode.

But back on topic, great episode today. Last part has everyone wondering. Is Carol bit? Is that why Daryl has to encourage her to come out?

And damn, can't believe Glen and Maggie are fine with leaving Rick and co again. Like after all they been through, they really wanna split up the group?

My god is that Abraham guy an idiot or what. How is he blindly trusting Eugene to solve all the problems? I'm gonna laugh if Eugene actually doesn't know s**t (which is why he showed he wants to stay with Rick) but is using a cover up saying that he knows the cure so that Phillip and Rosita will protect him. Hell, that's what I would do. Then once we get to eventually Washington, I'd mix a bunch of chemicals or something and then say "Whoops, guess I was wrong, there is no cure" :D

Seriously though, the guy is an idiot for blindly just believe that there's a cure. He's much better off going to Washington with Rick and his group. Like Glen said, they both need each other's group to stay together.

I really hope they don't make up some BS maniac story about Beth. I realize that they love adding the surprise element (cannibals) and such to the show but c'mon even though its a zombie show, keep it a bit realistic. In the previews, looked like Beth kept was kept in a hospital that had like a prison warden...her wakin up reminded me of Rick wakin up in the Pilot.

I hope its not all about Beth either in the next episode.

I wonder now that Daryl (and maybe Carol) are both back, they'll follow Abraham back to Washington. Or will they go back and try to get Beth?

Anyone else find it funny that Daryl cares more about finding Beth than her own sister Maggie? Like when Maggie agreed to go to Washington, did she not even care about finding her sister first? SMH.

Great episode, the whole "tricking Garret and Co" was awesome. I actually thought Rick and company had gone but I thought perhaps Carl, Tyrese and the others left at the church would take care of it and kill all the cannibals without any casualty to themselves.

Looking forward to next week's episode!
