Todd Gurley III has a legendary case of the Yips. He looked perfectly healthy but managed to draw attention to himself ny stretching excessively and riding the excercise bike. If I’m a teammate, I’m irritated

I didn't read through the thread and I'm sure this has been said but for all the hating on Gurley, which is legit, Jared Goff lost this game. has a guy wide open for a TD, doesn't see him until too late McCourty breaks it up. I think they got a FG on that drive so it cost them 4 points. Later he goes deep when as Romo pointed out on replay the Wr cutting across the middle was completely uncovered for a big gain possible TD. Then the icing on the cake he panics under the rush and throws the INT that effectively ends the game. As Romo said it's cover 0 there is no safety which means they can't block everyoen but there is NO SAFETY. the last thing you do is underthrow the ball if you're going to miss, miss long, there's no safety you might even get a PI when the DB there realizes it's over his head and he has no help.

I get it he's a young QB but it was the difference in the game. Brady made one mistake early with an INT and for the rest of the game took what was there and didn't beat himself. Goff had chances and missed them.

Cooks was also terrible and had a perfectly thrown ball in his hands to tie the game plus another big drop earlier. You can see why he’s on his third team in 3 years.

Kupp and Gurley are Goff’s safety blankets and well... Gurley either really flamed out or the Rams were hiding a significant injury. I’m sure it will come out in the upcoming days.

Agreed although Cooks at least made some other plays too. He completely saved them that one short sideline play where he snatched the ball way before the defender was goign to pick it, and then got a nice gain down the sideline. I know it was a set play but that was a picksix if he doesn't make that play.

I actually forgot about Kupp he's a sure handed always open guy they could have really used him tonight.

Romo was right though the Pats got into Goff's head early he was throwing the ball way too early because he felt pressure even when it wasn't there, and then he started taking hits and sacks because he didn't see where the pressure was coming from.

That feeling when a divisional QB peaked and fails to wins a super bowl and now has less upside than Lamar Jackson moving forward

Pats defender had his other hand locked...should've been a PI.

Not a fan of Brady or NE but the facts are:

8 - Most SB appearances by team (except NE) Cowgirls, Stealers and Broncettes
9 - Tom Brady's SB appearances (All with a salary cap)

This will NEVER happen again.

Perfect ball too. Game over.

Perfect pass. Without the non-called pass interference that was a touchdown and it's a 10-10 ball game. INT happened on the next play - a play which never would have happened had the refs called the PI. SMH. Ridiculous. Just another game where the refs influenced the outcome of a close game. Becoming the norm these days. Only way to overcome it is to not let the game be a close one in the first place, IMHO.

Rams got buried by punts deep in their own territory. The holding call in the 4th when they had a drive going. Gurley ran for 13 to the Pats side of the field and they call holding on the center. Romo said he didn't see it. Also had the PI in the end zone. The guy was clearly holding his left arm.

Quite a bit for the Rams to overcome. But they still had many chances to drive and score and couldn't get it done. Goff missed a lot of passes or threw to the wrong receiver. He also took sacks when he should have thrown the ball away.

That being said you have to give credit to Pats D and Flores for calling such a good game. They got pressure on Goff all game with all the D. The Oline protected Brady all night and did a terrific job. Pats coaching was above any thing the Rams could come up with.

Why the Rams left Edelman open so many times is very puzzling. Should have double teamed him. He is a guy who makes the catches and gets open when covered one on one or in zone.

Dude this was not a game you can complain about the refs. They were a non factor the whole game.

McVay was schooled and taken over Belichick's knee & spanked soundly. I hope the Cardinals learned something from that game. Goff is a decent QB, but will never be great. Rams will lose some FA's & may come down to earth next year.

Pats figured out he doesn't run between the tackles well enough. His game is outside. Put him on the All Overpaid Team.

There is a reason why Cooks is on his 3rd team and belongs on the All Overpaid Team list.
