I see the referees are still favoring the patriots

If that sideline hit had been on Tom Brady it would’ve been a 15 yard flag and ejection a score awarded to the patriots

And another non-called it favors the patriots

Yeah. We know. The refs jobbed the game mantra is boring. Perfectly reffed game. If anything it was balanced.

I posted this earlier in this thread.

"How was that not intentional grounding on Goff in the End Zone = safety

In the end zone, in the pocket , no receiver, not to the line of scrimmage."

If that intentional grounding was called in the end zone, it is a safety and the click you hear is the TV sets in America being turned off. So much or favoritism. Play on .

One more SB to finally surpass the Stealers!! I'd love to see it. As great as the Patriot dynasty is, they will need an infusion of talent to win another one. Brady is most definitely the GOAT, but he will need more help on the offensive side of the ball next year.

Does Josh Gordon come back? Hard to believe he gets a ring from this year.

When they hit Goff on the sideline and didn't call a penalty, I thought for sure it would have been a penalty with roles reversed. Hell, I saw penalties for that this season in less surrender situations.

I have no issue with the officiating, I was just surprised that wasn't a foul.

I don't have a problem with the no call on that play. for me the refs had little to no impact on the game and that's all you can ask for. you should question the rams offensive coaching more than anything else. they never adjusted to anything in a positive way. I thought the rams had two TD's that they should have made. one needed a better throw by the QB the other needed the WR to make a tough catch.

If you have a chance to watch the interception again Goff simply blew it. He could have thrown that ball sooner to the left side where he had a receiver ( in fact two) open for about an 8 yard completion . Had he thrown it to the closest receiver ( I think Reynolds) he may have scored. The second wr could have escorted him into the end zone. Goff had a couple of bonehead plays in this game. But give the patriots credit. They put Goff through a clinic.

I agree. This game reminded me of watching Dak Prescott all year. they frustrated goff for most of the game by attacking his offensive line with exotic pressure. whether it was the linemen, the QB, or the coaching, they seemed to never adjust to it. Goff was under duress almost every play and the few times he had chances he seemed too rattled to make the correct read. if you notice the difference on the other end, brady struggled, but he was decisive and that ball was coming out a lot faster to quick options for brady even if it was incomplete(he wasn't taking a hit).

Rams offense was abysmal. Blaming the refs is crap. They had a TON of opportunities. The Rams defense had an interception, huge 4th down stop and other stops and capitalized on none of them.

The part that killed me is I remember when the Cards had a porous middle of the line in years past and yet our feeble coaches seemed to get you had to get our QB out of the pocket.

The middle kept getting a ton of pressure on Goff. Why the hell didn't they try and get him out of the pocket more?

One thing I’ve learned this year is football teams emerge and grow throughout the season. The Pats traditionally start out slow and morph into a great team by crunch time. The Rams And the Saints started out on fire perhaps showing all their cards and allowing the opposition to get an entire blueprint on them. Contrary to the Pats who many were predicting their demise midway thru the season. They appear to save some wrinkles for crunch time.

If this were the Cards, posters would be calling for the head of the offensive coordinator/game caller.

Gene Sterratore addressed that one. He was going forward and still in bounds. Goff needs to be smarter. Wasn't worth 1 yd on 3rd and 22. :)

Technically, yes. I was solidly rooting for the Pats & thought for sure that a yellow flag would come out. That's just the pessimistic side of me that comes from being a Cardinal fan for so long.

Dude this was not a game you can complain about the refs. They were a non factor the whole game.

Your looking for a reason to be mad BRADY won

Disagree. The close calls were either only called on the Rams, or not called against the Patriots. Facts

I loved every minute of watching him get layed out when trying to run out of bounds.

Goff amongst Gurley choked this game away. I hope this impacts Goff's psyche like Nick Anderson when he missed those free throws and he was never the same again. Screw the Rams.

Great point. Can't forget any of Andy Reid's teams either who start out hot and fade away at the end.

Refs missed (or didn’t call) pass interference or holding on the defensive backs BOTH ways all game. I saw Edelman’s jersey and the back sent out’s jersey pulled and others being held 3 or 4 times with no call. Saw the same a few times on the Rams. Guess we see what we want to see.

It’s just the way the post season, especially the SB, is usually officiated.

Brady made the plays on when they were needed and Goff didn’t....game over.
