Okay, so I had to work and couldn't watch the game, but I wanted to comment anyway. It sounds like one of the epic playoff games of all time. Yes, it sounds like we had a defensive meltdown in the end, but I don't think it's panic time yet. Chances of taking game one were always slim because of the immediate home-court adrenaline. I don't think Duncan can keep up what he did throughout the series, and I seriously doubt that we lose the series if they have to rely on him hitting a 3-ball every game. So, no, I'm not worried. We DO have to win this next game, IMO, but we should be able to.

Very sane -- it probably helped that you didn't watch the game.

With a few days' separation now, I can see that, yes, the Suns lost a chance to steal a game and take immediate command of the series, but in the big picture, I didn't really expect them to win Game 1. It's hard to see how the Spurs can feel that good about the series, knowing that, at best, they tied the Suns playing at home with both Shaq and Amare in major foul trouble the entire game.

I honestly thought the Suns were going to win by 10 in the end by half time.. then intensity dropped a it, foul trouble etc..

But kudos to Spurs, just too discipline..

Also, it was one of the best games of all time.. I think.... just fantastic game... sadly the Suns just couldnt find the right plays... whilst the Spurs were hitting amazing shots...

In the end, apart from the lack of defense, it was the lack of LUCK... and mistakes that could of been avoided... HAPPENED... so

Just hopefully the Suns do not come out shattered, or disheartenned next game, the Spurs will come out firing, I can smell it... Suns should be the ones to come out firing..

Disagree, although it will help a long way if we get this win, it is not the end of the series if we dont.

I wish D'Antoni wont play Hill, let him rest and get a little healed before they return home for game 3

Um, it's the playoffs. There IS no tomorrow, and there IS no resting unless you absolutely cannot play. It's time to ramp it up and play through pain, not sit out for another day.

Hill can play through the pain, but if he can't defend anyone and can't draw iron on a 10-footer, he's not doing anyone any good. Sitting him isn't for his benefit, it's for the team's.

I believe Hill will be a lot better by friday when they come home and the only thing Hill has been doing very well the last couple of games is re-injuring that groin, i can almost guarantee it will happen again tomorrow because the Spurms will bump him hard everytime. I think the bench can hold forth better than a 80% Hill
