Thoughts on Boldin and Trade Scenarios

sorry guys

just for me, talking about the strength of a trade involving draft picks with a player you already know what you have in is meangingless to me...draft picks are still unknowns till they hit the field in the NFL and can actually be seen for their true proven value. Boldin is a proven player, draft picks are not.

Dockett and Boldin got generous extensions for guys that had two years left on their deals, but they weren't "top market" when they signed. Dockett had like 5 career sacks when he re-signed, and Boldin was coming off (or in the middle of) the worst season of his career.

Thanks for the info, Daisy - still - these guys AT THE TIME got good deals.
Now they need to fulfill their ends of the deal and start negotiatiing extensions in the LAST year of their deals.
