Really? This is not a snark post... but people have been saying this since they wore them the first time.

Maybe you are interpreting things through your eyes... not mine. I don't see why you look for trouble.

I'm liking Payton a lot.
Right on, Mainstreet. His skills make him the best natural Point Guard we've had since Steve. That's why it's so disheartening to read the almost hundred posts about his hair.

It's like baseball announcers when their team is being blown out. They find everything to talk about except baseball.

We're in a losing season, so talk about his hair? If we hope to take a step up next season, let's judge Payton by his game.

I personally believe that he keeps the 'do to set himself apart from any player in the league as he plays for a starting role next season. Personality is part of the NBA game.

BTW, it looks like it's been shortened a little bit. It's not in his eyes like MVSteve's was.

It's interesting how some teams seem to have other teams numbers, especially when it's a bad team like the Suns having the number for the Thunder, who are title contenders this year. On paper the Suns don't have any matchup advantages, really, except maybe Booker against their SG now that Andre Roberson is out. They should be able to slide Paul George onto Booker though but that doesn't seem to be much of a concern for them.
The thunder were considered contenders at the beginning of the year due to George and Melo but they’re only 9 games above .500, hardly contenders now. Will make for entertaining series if they play GS, but I don’t think they’re contenders.

Mostly agree BC.

I think if you ask almost any Suns fan they want to keep Payton.

The hair is mostly something to talk about.

Huh? I’m just surprised it took both of you this long to notice the striking similarities between the jerseys.

Payton had been a blessing. He's played very well and at times has looked amazing.

LOL. :)

I thought you were making a snark remark.

Sorry Cheese.

I guess it took me awhile about the jerseys.

I think there will be exciting games if they play GS, but I’d be stunned if it took GS more than 5 games to win that series.

Payton needs to take that 3 point shot and not worry about it.

Aaaaaaand it's falling apart

Totally fine with that. Good flashes by Josh and other youngins (with The now customary Booker explosion) while putting us closer to getting the final piece of the puzzle in the lotto hopefully.

I loved Marbury here and he's one of the guys that actually really loved playing here.

He was with his granddaughter. Said his daughter just graduated from ASU.

He needs to send some relatives to the Sun Devils to play basketball.

I think it's his grandson. Leander asked if he was going to be a shooting-first or passing-first Point Guard. :)
