As of two hours ago, Munchak and Bud Adams were still in Nashville. Peyton was either at Duke working out or still in Indianapolis and Tennessee is neck-and-neck with Denver?

Right, they are very happy with Matt Hasselbeck as the starter and Jake Locker his backup. Locker could be the starter before the season is over. They have other needs than qb.

I never said Peyton wasn't going to meet with Titans, just that he hadn't yet.

No way is Tennessee in a 'dead heat' with Denver. Meeting with Tennessee is still just a courtesy, IMO.

In regards to Polian, dude has been out of touch for a few years now. There is a reason why he was fired. He is the LAST person Manning is going to spill the beans to at this point. He is simply upping his status as a news contributor, since that is what the limit of his employment will be from here on out, as no other NFL teams will touch him right now.

They are going crazy here in Nashville. The sports radio has this thing wrapped up for them after the Bill Polian comment. It is total crap. Take note the Titans recently hired Polian's son. This is why he is pumping them up.

Apparently Mario Williams was also in NC before going to Buffalo. Wonder if Adams was targeting him until he found out about the Bills whisking him to scenic Buffalo.

I agree Joe, but as many twists & turns this story takes you never know. Almost as bad as the Brett Favre saga with differant circumstances. Peyton could be lured in reuniting with his homies or may not. Hopefully this doesnt go past Friday or there will be dead Cardinal fans on our hands
