2021 - Prove It
Ugh. Then why isn't he visiting their facilities?
Already familiar with them.
Ugh. Then why isn't he visiting their facilities?
Bill Polian (former Colts GM) on ESPN stated that it is a "dead heat" between Denver and Tennessee
Coach and GM don't want Manning. Owner does. Yeah, he won't be going there.
Not buying it.
As of two hours ago, Munchak and Bud Adams were still in Nashville. Peyton was either at Duke working out or still in Indianapolis and Tennessee is neck-and-neck with Denver?
Polian is just speculating like everyone else.
realfreemancbs: Someone tells me Bud Adams' private plane has a flight plan filed to Raleigh. If true, don't think plane is going there for hoops. [via Twitter]
I never said Peyton wasn't going to meet with Titans, just that he hadn't yet.
No way is Tennessee in a 'dead heat' with Denver. Meeting with Tennessee is still just a courtesy, IMO.
Actually, I was just replying to confirm your assumption that Peyton might be at Duke.
Already familiar with them.
How would he be?
Played their twice a year, knows people in the organization.

He knows their field. Not their facilities. It'd be like saying just because he played at UoP, he knows what the Tempe facility is like.
I'll give you the people connection. Those worry me a little, actually.
That's what I was getting at.
He knows their team from the outside, and doesn't know their facilities.
Crisper, regarding the people connection, the owner is a ego maniacal jerk...but he's also got a foot in the grave.
Buzz I heard on NFL Net was that Adams had a plane on the Tarmac poised to fly into the vic. of Asheville, NC (near Duke where Manning is supposed to be working out).
Could be important. Or - it could be that Peyton is inviting one or more teams to witness a worKout before the Friday PM Kolb deadline).
He is throwing Bill Polians son a bone. There is just no way Manning will jive with crazy old man Bud Adams.
