I mean, worse things can happen given our relative backfield depth, but not a good sign that a guy of his size is getting injured as soon as he sees game action.

I don't think his size has to do with a wrist injury imo. Maybe if it was a collarbone or something along those lines.

I'm worried about it because he is probably handily the best KR and PR guy on the team and we really need someone who can actually do those jobs.

He was with backups last night but those were the best returns we have seen in quite a while.

Report: Cardinals expect T.J. Logan to need wrist surgery

T.J. Logan looked good in his Arizona Cardinals debut Thursday, gaining 24 yards on four carries while amassing 71 yards on two kick returns and another 10 yards on a punt.

According to Mike Jurecki of 98.7 FM, Arizona’s Sports Station, the Cardinals are expecting Logan to need surgery on the wrist to repair a dislocated bone. As for a recovery time, the team is reportedly fearing the worst but hoping for the best.

Guess they wanted to throw him into the fire but that sequence he took some big hits. Thought it was odd they left him in for the beating.

The kick return alone looked like a big hit then 2 hard runs where he hurts it on the last run. Then blitz pick up with a injured hand..
Hope he comes back soon.

I asked my son who is a trainer for a different team what the prognoses for this kind of injury was and he said without giving any specifics for this fellow that normally he would be back by the middle of the season.

Chances are he's Out for the year :bang::bang::bang:. fudge!!!

This a a blow to the Cards chances of winning a ring IMO because he's gonna be dynamic in the rerun games

Typically 3-4 months. Since the IR rule change they might gamble and bring him back, though that's unlikely.

It should not be a year long injury, he is only out for the year if we put him on IR and do not bring him back once healthy.

Kerwynn was already making the team. They reportedly want to carry 4 RB's. I wouldn't mind seeing Penny get a shot...
I thought you were sayin AE for punt/kick returns, not for making the team. I get it now. I was typing how Penny is WAY too slow to be a KR before I figured it out.

This means two things, imo:
1. AE makes the final 53.
2. Our KR and PR will be bad, once again.

Unless we get someone off the WW.
