Please. The Cardinals defense has tons more talent than the Raiders who have nothing on D.
They are the bottom 2 in rush D and we are slightly better overall because of pass D. The main issue is we are dead last in 2 of 4 offensive catagories.....the other 2? 2nd to last. We are seeing probably our worst offensive team ever. And it's disgusting. I saw nothing for 3 and a half quarters of the Leftwich era that gave me hope. I did see Josh decide to just fling it which was nice. We all know what happens when we think we can win a game based on another teams supposed weaker team....yeah I've seen that movie many times. I hope we improve but sadly this head coach is a cancer. It won't be better till he's coaching a nickel D in some other city.

10 year contract is a LONG leash. It's pretty much unheard of in the NFL. And to get rid of him will cost so much money that the Raiders are basically stuck with him for 5+ years, if not longer. I'm glad that despite how stupid the Cardinals look right now, there is no way that they even compare to how stupid the Raiders are.
If you want the stupidest coaching contract in NFL history, look up the name Joe Kuharich.

We're going to beat the Raiders by 20. They'll have four picks in the top 33 next year, and start the rebuild then. They even dumped Bruce Irvin today. Total reconstruction.

I'm really surprised that Gruden is a part of all of this. I assume that he's under orders to dump salary and tear down the team but I find it hard to believe he'd put his name on such a tank job. The NFL may have to institute some kind of FFL parallel where certain players can't be dropped or given away.

This looks so very bad by the Raiders. A salary floor and no tanking seasons apparently need to be forced on some owners.

I don't think Gruden is under orders...more like his condition of taking the job was wanting enough security (10 year contract ), to build the team in his image...no questions asked by Davis.
