I boooed and I am proud of it. Our offensive was terrible today. It wasn't all about King.

We all have questioned McCown's leadership qualities. He is much more of a leader on the field that King was the last two games.

After Josh warmed up to come in the game, he went to talk to Fitz, then he went over to talk to Boldin. King never did that. He was to busy kissing Green's a**!

So Master BIM, please read my previous post (I booed too, not players per se, but the team in general--Denny's idiocy. Led a lot of "Throw the Ball" chants, too).

Oh, and PM me if you still have those red towels for me....I'll send you my addy.

:)

I don't think the offense would have drawn so many boos if they actually looked like they had some idea of what they wanted to achieve on the field today. :bang:

I yelled "throw the ball" plenty today. :computer:

I have towels... :goestopmd-dogg: :D

They were VERY offensive. :D

I think it is a difference in booing the STRATEGY of a 3 and out drive, and the actual performance/lack from a QB. Seriously, the entire night, before King threw his INT, he was INDESTINGUISHABLE from McCown. Sucking, and not hitting WRs.

I personally don't want to see either of them start again.

But here's the difference. When Josh came in (after the "we won the lottery" cheer that the crowd gave up) I started a nice little "new Josh, new Josh" chant. I wanted him to do good. I really did. I wanted our TEAM to do good. Whoever is in...I cheer for them. I want them to play well. I cheer for them to. I want to win...I have no favorites other than proven winners. I think that is fair.

People were booing King in the FIRST SERIES. Then begging for Josh, who wouldn't do anything differently than Queen...err...King.

I don't know...I'm just blown away...thats all. Maybe I'm a little old-school in my 31 years....but you give all your guts to your team, and you boo them as little as possible. Whoever wears the uniform IS a better player than you, whether you like it or not.

Offense in general looked HORRID!!!! Bad bad bad. I can't believe some of the crap they ran. It was like they were planning to get to third and long everytime.

I have NO issues with people booing the offense..it sucked.

I do have issues with people thinking Josh was the answer. He wasn't...and isn't.

I do have MAD PROPS for the SEZ people chanting for Rackers as he kicked a 55, 60 then 65 yard FG at halftime. "Rackers, Rackers, Rackers."

We have the best fans in the world...today I was disappointed in them.

:(

I seriously hope you are joking. If this is Josh's team, then we win maybe one game.

This is the DEFENSE's TEAM. Don't even think about forgetting about it.

BOOO!!!

who cares really ????

Maybe the team?

No, I guess the defense doesn't care when we get crazy-go-nuts for them. So I guess the offense doesn't even NOTICE when we boo.

What I don't understand is how DDogg spits off a list of profanity and doesn't even get a warning from a mod and Ryanwb gets banned for posting a supposidly borderline profane picture.

if the offense was worried about the crowd booing, then they didnt have their head in the game. King sucked so I booed too.. even though I wasn't there. King was horrible. I cheer for the team...that doesnt change. I want production, and king is worse than josh.

I was booing the decision to go with this retread over a young qb with upside.

Well I was at the game and I heard the booing, but I didn't hear anyone shouting for Josh. The fans were booing out of frustration. The frustration of having millions of dollars tied up in the offense and it is the most totally inept offense in the NFL. As I said in another thread, fire the whole offense including the OC and his coaches.

I don't blame people for booing. If I'd been there I would have booed too. The fans were just venting their frustration and who can blame them? Personally, I thought benching McCown was dumb at the time and nothing that has happened the past two weeks has changed my mind.

Maybe Josh isn't the answer, but the fact remains that we were 4-5 and had won two games in a row. The timing of the move is still inexplicable to me.

Josh should start with Navarre as his back-up and King should be demoted to #3. If Josh plays poorly from now on then put Navarre in.

JMHO.

You were lucky. I can understand, and take part in the former, but not the latter.

Report D-Dogg's post(s) and the mods will get involved.

I'm not a mod on this board.

What I don't understand is how I edited those fury-of-the-moment posts so they are not offensive, thinking first of the board, then of my own anger, and yet still someone complains?

I was overheated, yeah. But I changed my posts. The underlying points remain. Do you cheer the defense? Then why do you boo the offense?

Yes we understand you were overheated but replacing cussing simply with asterisks still is against the rules. My guess is you will simply be warned but keep it in mind next time

No, you may not. Please sit at the church of the TEAM for one week.

Then, when feeling like booing, ask if you are being selfish, or just a tagalong.

Then, boo or not boo. It's your free will to be a jackhole....if you want to be. Or, you can try and cheer on the team.

Ah, I thought there was an auto-curse filter on the board that turned F-bombs into asterisks.

Kind of funny that I've never been moved to cursing until tonight...the fans reaction this game really hit me hard.

Well, I guess I have more editing to do then!! :)

I do agree that the fans jumped on King way way way too soon and I'd share your disgust actually it was pretty lame and don't really know where it came from.

It's not like we had Brett Farve on the bench it seems to me a matter of who they like more personally.

Thanks Conrad...this is my point exactly. It's not that King was good at all...in fact, he sucked. But it's not like we have a savior waiting in the wings. There's no Eli, Ben, Rivers on our bench. There's John Navarre.

The fans were on King from the get-go, and I'd guess that as much as our chants can pump up the defense, our (well, their) boos can bring down the offense just as much.
