I think I can live without the cursing out of people on this board or in the stands. There is nothing about a football game to get so tense about. Those large capitol letters almost spelling out, somethings are better of not being said. Now the game and fans. I've been to every game here at SDS. Our fans are great hard nose fans. We cheer loud and we boo loud.
Yesterdays game against a very good defense was an amplified picture of our offense. When Emmitt went down so did our running game. I'm pretty sure that none of our QB's could have done much better. In addittion after being there I read the reaction of the fans to push and boo the offense in general. I know some directed at KIng , but most were directed at play calling or general ability and lack of.
KIng is not a good enough QB to overcome a missing Running game, and doubled up recievers as the Jets dared us to throw with plenty of tight coverage.I don't profess to know who should QB next wek. We are still in the chace believe it or not. OUr division is very weak. Next year with a QB, a RB and some additions to the o-line and Tight end we may win the division. Some say Navarre , I say not yet, so if I had to chose it would most likely be Josh. Can some of you please cut out the very over used and most awefull word of the last few years. The word is Suck. Over and over. Both King and Josh are doing somethinbg that thousands of other kids of tried to do, they both play in the NFL and both have enough talent to play this game givin the right assortment of good players.
Give it time. Green has led this club to at the very least an ability to compete.I think he deserves a lot more than 11 games.
