Well some might be a fixed, as in stubborn or pigheaded. Is there any doubt I was understating the gravity of the situation about cutting Matt leinart? I was 1000% more right by the time DA got benched. Kolb is proving beyond a doubt Matt leinart was not the problem with the Arizona Cardinals.
Whiz is toasted, not Matt Leinart, At least He is starting Beanie now, DUH! Berate me Berate me for christmas, berate me forever. Mike and Chris Miller is the best OC and QBC we could hire too!
Matt leinart is so much better than Kolb.... If you have not got a clue, it is even worse!
Indeed, Tom Landry, Vince Lombardi and others want their systems back. If only they'd listened to the players.
The worst thing about this is that we will have to listen to thesmel babble on about Leinart in every thread for the rest of year.

Was listening to an interview of some NFL QB. Don't remember who, and he said there are some people who are perfectly content to stand on the sidelines and wear a baseball cap backwards.
But now Matt has to play. Hope he does well because my oldest son is a big Texans fan. Cardinals too btw. I had to ruin all my kids by making them Cardinals fans. Child Protective Services found out about it a few years ago and we had to pretend they were Texans fans so I wouldn't go to jail for child abuse.
Good minority report from @billbarnwell for Grantland.com (Barnwell is the best thing about Grantland now that Bill Simmons doesn't care about football and Chuck Klosterman is on book tour):

Highlight passage:
Whisenhunt is the primary reason Matt Leinart is considered a bust, and over the course of his career as Cardinals coach, Whisenhunt has shown virtually no ability to pick the right starting quarterback for his team.
So I guess it wasn't Whisenhunts decision to use Warner over Leinart? Stupid comment.
The only reason to hope Leinart fails is to make it look like Whiz made the right decision. It's pretty clear that cutting him for Anderson was not the right move, though a lot of us wanted a third option.
That's why he said virtually, not completely.

And that isn't even what happened. Matt started the preseason seemingly with a desire to complete passes and nothing else. He wasn't even making an effort to move the ball downfield so Coach moved DA ahead of him for a game. Matt wasn't having any of that, threw a tantrum and demanded a trade. If Whiz was anything even resembling a player's coach, it never reaches this point. But Matt was not the innocent bystander that he's being painted as and turning the season over to DA wasn't a choice, it was a lack of options.

You must be desperate at the QB position
He's my third QB now. Schaub was the 7th ranked guy in our league so if Leinart can step in and play in a quazi-similar fashion, I landed a late-season steal.Must really be itching to lose

I don't call hitting on one out of two virtually.
Looks like it ends with Bartel? Or would you have started the season with Skelton or Bartel? Or are you thinking that BSP or Palko or whoever should have started at some point. One out of 2? Anderson, Skelton, Hall, BSP, Bartel..... the list goes on and on.
Huh, I guess I forgot about the trade demand if that's what happened. In any case, I wasn't trying to make ML out to be a victim: he lost the job, and I was one of those looking ahead to a third option based on his upcoming bonus or whatever it was. Of course the club avoided that 11m (IIRC) and then ended up handing Kolb $10m more in guaranteed money.
That's because the trade demand never happened. #7 did a bad job going to the media and saying that he's done everything that's been asked of him and thinks he deserves the starting job, but he never demanded a trade.
#7 deserves criticism for the way he handled the demotion. Whis deserves criticism for dropping an atom bomb on the Arizona Cardinals 2010 football season because he can only work one way with players and never located a QB coach who isn't a personal toady.
So the reports at the time that Matt had asked for or demanded to be traded or released are false? It's quite possible that I've taken what was merely speculation and passed it off as fact (unintentionally) but I clearly remember reading this in multiple places. Can I ask how you can unequivocally state that we are wrong on this?
