Oh boy, another year of Mike Adams as our nickel corner! Can't wait to watch everyone softly lobbing passes over his 5 foot tall frame.

Fair enough and a good point. I dont begrudge your opinion. I just know that QB is SOO damn important nowadays that I'm willing to roll the dice.

It is important. VERY. Just not 100x more important. :D

As am I, but you roll the dice with picks not key pieces on the roster.

So we're right back to having zero CB depth. Are there any free agent CBs available?

Then we will just get rid of them faster if Kolb isnt any good.

While we give up a pro bowl CB and another high pick along with it? ugh.

If we get a good QB then deal him if necessary. I think a lot of Card fans overrate DRC.

Personally, I doubt he will ever have the dedication and maturity to be a consistently high performer. Too many mental lapses and he hasn't shown that he cares enough to ever be a good tackler.

And he can't play zone.

IF DRC AND a high draft pick ARE shipped to Philly, the length of the Whisenhunt-Graves era in Arizona will & should rest on the right arm of Kevin Kolb.

Combined with the contract Kolb will earn, oops, I mean be given, this is most definitely a bet-the-franchise decision and they absolutely should be held accountable for it one way or the other.

We can get a QB that is arguably better than Kolb (Orton) without having to give up DRC.

He averages 43 tackles 4 picks and 21 pass deflections a year. Umm hate to say it but that is pretty freaking good and among the elite CB in this league. He did win two games for us last year, one vs the SB champ Saints. He did not actually cost us any wins persay. Every player has down years, even Champ Baily.

I'll say this.. I am been a against trading DRC for most of this process... but just to play devil's advocate for a second:

If you believe the stories of DRC walking out of film sessions acting like a child, and personally everytime I think of DRC I think of the Seattle game where Mike Williams made him his Bit$ch, I kindof starting losing a little faith in DRC as an elite corner, because he goes after the INT more than he defends the pass...

To me... in the end he might be more Dre Bly than Champ Baily and in Horton's defensive systems that is all about blitzing and leaving DRC on an island everytime he goes for the INT and misses its a Touchdown... that fact a lone might have written his ticket out of town already...
