I dont want to sound like I'm bellyaching, but that should've been a T, especially when you consider the bench players were involved in storming the court, as well. Imagine if that had happened without the students on the court on a simple inbounds play. Basically, Cal was saved by the students.
I can only assume it was because the refs decided it didn't impact the game they didn't want to call it. The clock stops after the made basket so maybe they ruled it was a dead ball but it should have been a T IMO.
If Ashley is really done tough break, I kind of thought so because the replays you could see the ankle didn't roll. Same thing that happened to Jordan Adams last year.
Nick is hurt too he was shooting one handed last night because of an injury to his left hand, looked like a finger.
On Gordon, he's REALLY been exposed of late, he is a tremendous athlete, great rebounder and good defender but he can't shoot the ball and this weekend the Bay Area schools were simply sagging off him and it really screwed up the Arizona offense.
FYI the ESPN story is saying it's not a T because Cal had called timeout. THeweird thing is in the same story they say Monty was frantically getting people off the court because he was unaware TO had been called. Weird that a control freak guy like him would not know his own team had called timeout.
