Free throw shooting has been atrocious most of the season. 8 of the past 10 National Champs shot 70% or more from the FT line. UA is at 67%. This Must improve.

Who on the team do you think will be gone for the NBA?

Gordon and I think it's 50/50 for Ashley. Nick still has some things to work on and I have been told he loves the college life. Tarc is just not ready and I see him staying.

Btw, I really hope ASU beats Colorado today. Xavier Johnson's comments were just plain stupid.

20-0

Nice recovery, but that was an absolute crap sandwich in the 1st half.

You mean him daring to say he wasn't conceding the conference to Arizona he thought Colorado could be the team to beat them? You do realize he said that BEFORE Dinwiddie blew out his ACL and toasted their season?

I think it would be stupid for a player to say he didn't think his talented team had a chance, which was the question he was asked that elicited that response, do you think anybody has a chance to beat Arizona for the conf title this year.

Arizona fans posting on Scout(on the UCLA board ironically) are telling us they're going to lose Gordon, Ashley and Johnson. Ashley's plan has always been 2 and gone and Gordon's always 1 and done. Apparently Nick notified Miller before the season he intends to leave which was one reason UA was recruiting Kadeem Allen so aggressively out of JC.

There's also some talk Pitts might transfer out seeing the writing on the wall with York, Allen next year and then recruits coming in after that but who knows.

I think he's talking about the comments after the game. How CO is a better team right now (after losing in Tucson), and that it will be a "20-point blowout" in Colorado.

Hadn't seen that he is a talker so not surprising.

I also liked how he said he grew up playing with half of Arizona's team. Exactly which half? the only guy on the UA roster he played with in HS is a walkon from MD. And the only one he played against was york.

AAU maybe but that's true of all the teams.

#1 status is becoming harder and harder to maintain. I see the young guys pressing a bit. Fortunately, we have the ultimate stabilizer in Nick Johnson.

Also, first undefeated January in the Miller era, which is a month in which he has historically struggled.

I'll say it how is that not a T on the Cal players coming off the bench after the go ahead shot? If you watch Behrens he helps Cobbs up and then when Cal starts running back on D Behrens starts running too then remembers he's not in the game and runs to the bench. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be 1 or 2 shots on that sort of T but they replayed it to set the clock and still didn't call the T.

Matthews was off the bench too but he was just celebrating and yanked off quickly but Behrens was blatant.

Hope Ashley is ok I don't see how he rolled the ankle in any of those replays which makes you hope it's not a bone thing like JOrdan Adams last year.

Couldn't watch the game b/c I don't have Pac-12 network.

But from the box score, Nick went 1-14??? Gordon 4-14??? What???

Anyone see it? What happened? Just poor shooting?

I dont want to sound like I'm bellyaching, but that should've been a T, especially when you consider the bench players were involved in storming the court, as well. Imagine if that had happened without the students on the court on a simple inbounds play. Basically, Cal was saved by the students.

I can only assume it was because the refs decided it didn't impact the game they didn't want to call it. The clock stops after the made basket so maybe they ruled it was a dead ball but it should have been a T IMO.

If Ashley is really done tough break, I kind of thought so because the replays you could see the ankle didn't roll. Same thing that happened to Jordan Adams last year.

Nick is hurt too he was shooting one handed last night because of an injury to his left hand, looked like a finger.

On Gordon, he's REALLY been exposed of late, he is a tremendous athlete, great rebounder and good defender but he can't shoot the ball and this weekend the Bay Area schools were simply sagging off him and it really screwed up the Arizona offense.

FYI the ESPN story is saying it's not a T because Cal had called timeout. THeweird thing is in the same story they say Monty was frantically getting people off the court because he was unaware TO had been called. Weird that a control freak guy like him would not know his own team had called timeout.

That's what I thought while watching the game. Is this confirmed?

At the press conference Miller stated he thinks its broken, he's not a doctor but looks like he is preparing for the worst. Huge blow none the less.

This sucks. Like Russ, I didn't see the ankle roll, and when they showed him the bench, the ice was wrapped around the foot, not the ankle.

And then Alford gives the game right back with a brilliantly coached loss to OSU where he inexplicably decided to play zone the whole game and put his team to sleep.
