Didn't the Cowboys also draft Stephen McGee , QB Texas A & M in the 4th round. I like that guy a lot. Jerry is looking for backup qbs I guess.

Have'nt seen anyone sign Antone Smith RB FSU yet.He would make a great third down back and returnman for us.I wonder if he has had some trouble or something.

He's been with Bobby for 3 years I think. He has been the major rb for FSU for at least 2 years now with a horrible qb and offensive coordinator.I wonder if he is too close to to our Pitt RB draftee?

Somers stated in his recent blog the Cards are going to be announcing 9 UDFA's most likely this afternoon.

I'm glad the days of us having 20+ UDFA's in camp under Tobin/McGinnis are behind us.

I was hoping the DE from A&M would be available, but it seems the hags just picked him up :(

So far:

Cardinals
WR Justin Brown (Hampton)
DB Michael Ray Garvin (FSU)
WR Shane Morales (Oregon St.)
LB Chase Bullock (Maryland)
CB Jameel Dowling (Hawaii)

Did all of our practice squad guys from last season get signed for camp? Some of the UDFAs might have a chance for the practice squad as I doubt any have a chance to make the final 53 (unless Garvin just is so good returning kicks they can justify yet another guy who can only contribute at one position).

Check the Official Cardinal Website...

K: The official roster no longer categorizes players as PS, IR, PUP etc. - everyone is now on the main roster.

So if you want to check on a player who was on the PS this past season, if he's still a Cardinal, he'll be listed on the main roster.

Yeah I know that but I just wasn't sure who was a PS player last year and if they were all brought back to compete in camp.

Cards didn`t bring back Kelly Poppinga LB amd Hercules Satele G-C .Both were on the PS at the end of the season IIRC.

Some guy around here has a up to date, current roster of the Cardinals in his signature.

I forget who, tho.

Derek Pegues S Mississippi St. is MIA (I had him pegged as a late 1st rounder. I wonder what the deal is).
http://www.hattiesburgamerican.com/article/20090424/SPORTS/90424019/1006/SPORTS

The negatives for him are he’s a little small, didn’t have great workouts and had a few off-the-field issues
and
NFL.com compared Pegues to former Tennessee safety Jonathan Hefney, who went undrafted, in that he was solid at many areas but not a standout in any, either.

“Pegues still needs to prove he can excel in one area in the NFL,” the report read.
