My opinion but calais campbell deserved the franchise tag more then jones
He had sacks but some of them were worthless, then sometimes Jones tend to disappear
Markus golden has less talent but he works his tail off every single play
To me the elite player is Campbell even at 30 years old

The only issue the tag for DE's this year is 16.9 million. Or 6.9 million more APY then he is supposedly worth. It was not only cheaper to sign Jones, but he is younger. Campbell most certainly is not worth 16.9 million. At least we will get a 3rd in return next year.
