Arizona in!!!! ASU out!!!!! The world is normal again

Crow about it as much as you want...you know it is an absolute joke that your team is in, and ASU is out. It is absolute robbery that South Alabama, U of A and Oregon are in, and ASU is out. What a ******* system.

10? thats a JOKE. Absolutely ridiculous. What a bunch of garbage.

Herb and Lisa Love better make damned sure they step up the OOC schedule next year.

U of A must have gotten that seed purely on reputation especially with the way they stumbled down the stretch. I doubt any realistic fan of U of A would have seen them seated even close to that high.

Unfortunately it seems that Georgia winning the conference tournament is what lost our spot

Our OOC schedule this year was not made to be weak..

First playing in the Maui INvitational against teams like Duke, LSU, and Illinois have historically been a VERY good tournament...

Add that to the fact that we played Xavior, and Nebraska.. and it didn't turn out the way we had thought...

Two years ago, (when the schedule was finalized) if you looked at a schedule of Illinois, LSU, Princeton, Xavior, Nebraksa.. PLUS the Pac-10.. you would say that is one HELL of a schedule...

Herb didn't schedule a bunch of push-overs.. this was a schedule made to be competitve..

Anyone who says otherwise is simply ignorant...

I wonder what the pac-10 will do about their referees now that they cost the pac-10 a grip of money! No doubt about it.

I'm sure they are devastated.:)

Lets call a spade a spade Devil fans. How many games would you have won with Harden out for extended time? You guys have a legit beef but at the same time I think Arizona has a much better possibility of making a run.

We just need Chase and Bayless to get hot and we have a favorable bracket.

Couldn't have worked out better actually:D

The key is Harden is coming back. Concentrate on next year and you should finish in the Top 3 in the Pac depending on defections.

So how do you explain Cal Poly, Florida Gulf Coast, Delaware Sate, Coppin State, Montana State, Idaho, and St. Francis (PA)?

If I was an ASU fan I would be more mad about Oregon than the U of A making it. On another note, I'm sure you'll be very good next year with Harden coming back.

What does this have to do with anything? How many games can the Suns win w/ out Nash? How many games could the Bulls have won with out Jordan?

Lets not get into bizarro 'what ifs', looking at what DID happen, not what 'if', ASU beat UA twice, split w/ Oregon, beat Stanford, SC and Xavier, they ought to be in.

I think something that probably worked against ASU was that they didn't have any good wins on the road. All their good wins (and they had quite a few) were all home games.

Because the selection committee takes injuries into account, that's why. With Bayless and Wise both healthy I think UA was something like 16-6.

The explanation is simple actually. You go the maui invitational and expect to play 3 very good teams. Then you schedule Xavier and Nebraska. That is 5 solid games and then we add the 19 pac ten games (add one for the tourny at min) and you are then playing 24 very good games. do you need to play good teams all the time? No. ASU knew they were young so they scheduled some cake games to get some wins.

this is the biggest load of crap ive seen since last years Syracuse debacle. 1/3 of UA
's pac wins were against the worst team in pac history. i just can't believe this.

Not over Arizona, the Cats had a better resume.

The committee says every year they reward teams that play more difficult schedules. ASU has nobody to blame but themselves for their NIT berth. Their OOC schedule is an embarrassment and you simply can't lose to Washington and Cal at home.

Um I'm saying that because we lost Bayless and still mainted a respectable record. That loss obviously effected the team. Nic Wise hurt bad too.

I'm not making excuses. Im just saying I think the committee took that into account.

OT Dick Vitale is all over the selection team for leaving out ASU and putting in UA.

Bilas put him in his place though:)

The Same way Stanford explains Northwest State, UC Santa Barbera, Colorado State (WOrse than Oregon State), Yale, Sacremento State, Santa Clara

WAZZU- Montano, MVSU, Idaho, Portland St, North Carlina A&T, Citidel, Portland St.,

Or you- UMKC- Who the hell is that?, Adams State, CSFL, and NAU..

I could go on and on... EVERY TEAM schedules those kind of games... ASU didn't schedule more than the others, its just the tough games they schedueled, weren't as good as they have historically been...

Well except for being swept by ASU and having the 7th best record in the PAC10

My question to you is how you would feel about ASU's potential performance in Lawrence, KS?

I think we beat you the first game with Bayless hands down. I give you guys all the credit in the world for the game in Tucson.

Sendek took KO to school.

The bad news is we have our white knight riding in on a horse for next year to restore the balance to this "rivalry"
