We need one of them. Get it done.

This hometown Max Hall thing is cute and all, but the Seahawks are for real now with Marshawn.

I think Vick would be interesting as a playmaker, his #7 is readily available.

Do it before we watch the division slip away.

I'd pull the trigger on Kolb but I don't think he's available. I'd entertain the idea of Vick, just because hes better than anybody we have lol.

They is only one player in the NFL I cheer for when they get hurt that would be the scum known as Vick

Just a thing to remember:

the Bidwills don't generally donthave players on the team that have off the field issues, thus I dont think Vick would even be on the Cards radar...thank goodness!!!

The past is the past...Vick did his time. The Eagles are definately not going to let Kolb go if he keeps up his play since he's the reason why McNabb was traded. Vick has improved tremendously as a passer and I'd definately would not mind seeing him here in AZ.

Reid already stated that Vick is their starter once he gets healthy. Kolb confirmed it, too. Kolb is the future so I don't think any of those guys are going anywhere.

They have 2 viable options and we are down to a UFA and a raw 5th rounder. Oy Vey...

the cards will do nothing at quarterback. the way whiz is gushing over hall i think he thinks that hall will be warner 2.0 i wish we didn't go into the season with a rookie at quarterback but hey, i'm just the monday morning coach. i pray it works though.

Each to his own opinion, for me it doesn't seem likely he has changed, just learned to cover it up.

I fully acknowledge to be pleased he got hurt

I agree 100% nidan

vick is a trashbag and still a guy who can't complete 60% of his passes ..... he did well against a couple poor teams

when teams get the tape on him again he'll go back to being a flash type player who will never lead a team to anything great .... not enough accuracy or smart

I don't wish injury on him but I want no part of Vick. If he'd never been caught he'd still be involved in dog fighting today, I have no doubt of it.

I liked Kolb today he did nearly get DeSean Jackson's head taken off, but even without Jackson he was pretty impressive.

I don't know how long Vick can keep it up, he's been brilliant but remember he was a turnover machine in the preseason this year, it'll be interesting to watch. But I would hope the Cards would steer clear of Vick, there's a line of ethics I won't cross and he's still on the wrong side of it for me.

Dog fighting wouldnt be an issue if there were not dog lovers.

Yah, it is sad, but so are animals in a zoo, rats fed to pet snakes, deer/elk hunted for game, etc..

I have much more of a problem with Ben Roethlisberger, Eric Green (disturbing), Chmura, Ray Lewis, Marvin Harrison, and other human crimes than I do Mike Vick.

Meh, This country allows second chances. Vick paid his debt to society. Before anyone wishes harm to a human, you want to consider how your beef and poultry are slaughtered. How your beef and poultry are born and bred. How it's fed hormones and how much space it has to live it's short life. If you're a carnivore, you are just as much to blame for that. In one form or another, we are all culprits in some form of animal cruelty.

Each to his own but it will come as no surprise to you to know I'm a dog lover, how anybody can abuse something so lovable is beyond me [thankfully]

He will never be a Cardinal, but this thread pops up every other week.
Its kinda funny, I don't even get worked up about it now. Those who think dogfighting is only a problem because there are dog lovers out there is hilarious.

Rats being fed to snakes, well living things eat other living things, same goes when you hunt a deer.

For those points to be valid, Vick would have to eat the dogs after he killed them.;) But some of you guys would still want him on the team.

I like it when he gets hurt too. :D

Wasn't Vick associated with a shooting incident this summer that involved people from the dog fighting ring? Not sure I'd be so quick to think Vick's issues are behind him.

Is the point about eating and storing, or is it about inhuman treatment of animals? Is the outcome or reasons really the issue? I don't think so.

You can't point fingers and have selective outrage if our habits allow inhuman treatment to happen to other animals. That's the real issue.

I am an animal lover and have several pets ( 1 dog, 2 cats and various birds) but I don't mistake the value of a pet to a human life. That's the bottom line for me.

A dog returns to his vomit......

But, it's all moot. The Eagles will keep both during the season. It's already proved to be very valuable to them.

I don't understand why people like dogs so much. They're really an annoyance and an inconvenience. They bark, they slobber, they lick, they shed hair all over the place, they don't clean themselves and thus stink, they don't use a litter box, they are high maintenance--always having to be walked and let outside at all hours of the night. You can't go on long day trips or overnight trips without having to ask someone to burden themselves taking care of your dogs while you're gone. And dog food is expensive.

I've always been a cat person. They're quiet, they take care of themselves, they sleep most of the day, they're independent and go to the bathroom by themselves and even cover their own mess. You can go away for a couple of days and let them have free roam of the house and not have to worry. They're lovable and cuddly without being intrusive. They don't need to be walked or let out in the middle of the night and if they sleep with you, they don't take up half the bed, and they don't snore.

That said, dogfighting is stupid and wrong; and the whole point of this thread is moot because the Eagles are not going to consider trading Vick or Kolb. Vick's contract is up at the end of the season and then I'm sure we will have a few dozen "We should sign Michael Vick" threads. I'll pass. He doesn't fit Whiz' style IMO.

I could give you 100 reasons why cats are ******** also, to each their own.

One I will bother with though is If I die, my dogs will die next to me depressed. If you die, your cats will start to eat you. Google it.

I love dogs and at the same time im fine with dog fighting. Why not? if they are bred to fight, sure. Dont put my dogs in a fight as they were bred to be lazy house dogs.

I want to see lion fighting, bear fighting and then we can PPV bear vs lion and things of that nature.
