The op saying every week that this team has no heart. :mulli:
Really? Please go find it every week. I'll wait. Post links, not "oh, you say it every week". Face it, you're a liar and you know it. And if you're referring to last night, I said the defense wasn't showing any heart and I was right. It took an incredibly stupid play call and Dwight Freeney to do what he does to seal a win. Otherwise, the defense played with zero intensity and allowed an awful offense to click on all cylinders. This is a matter of fact. Don't like facts, then I don't know what to tell you.

Well we had 2 guys open for the first but unfortunately too close together and one tipped the ball so the other couldn't catch it.

I was fine with that call, a first down there essentially cements the game unless you miss the FG, and you might score a TD.

Oh, we knew BA was passing there. And I was good with it...fully expecting it. He's a gunslinger, and you can't fault him for it if you've ever praised him for it when it works. I like the mentality.

So what you're saying is that I, specifically, aren't allowed to have an opinion. Gotcha. However, my "opinion" is based on fact unless we watched 2 different games last night so let me help you out a little:

What was the Vikings' offensive rank going into last night's game? Answer: 30th(321.5 YPG)
What was the Vikings' offensive output last night? Answer: 389 yards.
What was the Vikings' passing rank going into last night's game? Answer: 31st(185.7 YPG)
What was the Vikings' passing output last night? Answer: 317 net yards
What was Teddy Bridgewater's ranking in YPG going into last night's game? Answer: 34th(210.2 YPG)
What was Teddy Bridgewater's passing output last night? Answer: 335 yards(career high)

There you have it. We made one of the worst offenses in the league look like world beaters who, if it weren't for a stupid playcall at the end, would have tied the game at least. They basically moved the ball at will at times and our piss poor tackling at times exemplified this. This is something that needs to be fixed if we're going to have a deep playoff run. Again, these are facts. If you want to dispute them, go ahead but all I do is put the numbers out there and they speak for themselves.

I was impressed with Teddy Bridgewater. He did not force his passes. He played very smart as a QB. He quickly moved to second and third options when the #1 was not available.

The Vikings offensive play calling was excellent as well. They were prepared.

good grief, how depressing. The Vikings were not 8-4 coming into this game because they are bad! They scored 20 points. Yikes. Bridgewater played very well last night. He had an excellent game. That was not because the Cardinals played poorly. He just stepped it up big time. But when you are a good team, that's what other teams do against you. They step it up. The Vikings are a team that tends to play to the level of its competition. Hence playing at a high level last night.

We all have opinions. Can we all just get along and not be so sensitive if somebody does not agree with your opinion.

At the end of the day what are we all. CARDINAL FOOTBALL FANS!!!!

I like the way the game was played. It was generally close to the vest, nothing outlandish, conservative by Card's standards. I fully enjoyed the whole game. I am glad the Vikings didn't run Peterson that much in second half. He was the only thing that worried me. I am sure I agree with Peterson in that they don't use him as much as they should. Even if behind in the score, every time he touches the ball he could go for big yardage. Just like a deep pass, not all will connect, but the more you try the more you are going to hit on until you break one for the distance.

Palmer keeps game exciting with forcing the ball into places he shouldn't. But i guess that just comes with having so much confidence. He has gotten away with more than his share this season in my opinion.

The only real flaw in the play of the team was that idiot run that one guy did when he lost 8 yds trying to bounce outside. He probably was so excited about showing what he could do, that he lost track of the situation. No gain would have been fine in that situation, anything but what he did. Hope he learns from that big time, if he isn't cut.

Vikes gave us all we could handle like I expected (trap game we dodged). If it wasn't for the coaches brain cramp on that last play of theirs, we would have gotten some more fun in overtime.

I truly believe for the very first time that this could be our year. I think our coach can come up with ways to beat Carolina if and when that should come. I predict a Cardinal vs Chiefs Super Bowl. Would get some good odds on betting both of those teams to win. Too bad I don't bet any longer.

Bethel did not have a good game. On all the clips I saw, he seemed to be avoiding contact, and gave up a TD pass.

This game was pretty bad. 60/40 Cards if not 50/50.

At least Vikings fans are really nice overall. There is not a bunch of drunken trash talking like is prone to happen at games with many other fanbases we have to deal with.

Yeah. Basically southern-Canadians.

Nicest people on the planet.

Unless they are playing hockey.

Meh, depends on the fans. Overall, they're better than Pitt, Cowpie or Raider fans, but there were a couple of douches a few rows in front, in the middle of the row who refused to sit in the first quarter despite everyone behind them asking. Then they started dropping every cuss word in the book to the people behind them - kids included.

I walked over to them and said they'd be wise to follow the crowd for standing as the SAFE people have short fuses when it comes to kicking people out. One said to me and I quote, "Go F off, we'll stand the whole GD game." I said, 'Hey, I didn't pay for the ticket, your choice."

SAFE came down mid way through the second and talked to them, but by then I think they had too much blood in their alcohol and began sitting more than standing.

They didn't play at high level when Seattle spanked their arses.

The Cards came out flat and it showed. PP21 should call out the defense EVERY Sunday.

It was a putrid showing and a pathetic win. They cant be doing that in the playoffs.

The fans who actually showed up should be embarrassed at the way the team handled themselves, from top to bottom.

They did the same thing happened against Baltimore, Cincy, Seattle, and now Minny. Always coming down to the last drive, when they should've won emphatically. That's just absolutely abysmal and pathetic.

They have not peaked. Seattle, Pittsburgh, and Carolina are showing the NFL they mean business, by blowing out opponents and putting their boots by their necks. The Cards haven't done that yet at this stretch. THey are looking more like pretenders.

All I can say is good teams (Vikings) find a way to lose games like this while great teams (Cards) find a way to win games like this. Sure it stunk, but the Cards made the plays to win the game when they needed to and that will only help them come PO time.

The defense is beginning to concern me

it's concerned me all year. I know we have a nice pretty defensive rank, but the complete el foldo our D has done against Cincy/Minnesota in the last couple weeks is worrisome... especially with those games coming at home. Hopefully getting Rucker and Powers back will help a little bit, but against really good offenses, I fear our inability to get to the QB could very well be the death of us. I think the O is gonna have to be lights out in the playoffs and carry us... which they definitely can, but they're gonna have to find that next gear again. They've piled up the yards the last couple games, but have scored 19, 27 and 23 points, which is pretty far below their average.

Negged.

The Cardinals didn't beat the Vikes. The Vikes beat the Vikes.

Aside from Rams, it was recently stated the Cardinals last 6 opponents have all performed above their season averages in yards per game...

Vacard your just wrong the cards won the game! Made plays when they needed too on offense and defense it's not always pretty when a team is fighting back like the bikes were after being embarrassed Sunday. Just because it wasn't a blowout were pretenders... Get a clue this is the NFL!
