Don't wish him any ill will, hope for the best.

But to expect anything other than the sideshow we've seen to continue is foolish.

I'm sure going to watch the Bengals preseason games on NFLN for his meltdowns and for once they won't be killing MY team.

Towards the last few picks, Trent Dilfer, Kiper, McShay and the other guy had a 5 or 10 minute discussion on Burfict. Kiper said that his fall from a possible first round to undrafted was pretty much unprecdented (or words to that affect).

Dilfer said that he "would suck a team down" (or words to that affect--how I remember it).

I am an Arizona fan and hate to see anyone from here fall/fail that bad. Hope he can get his life turned around.

Dilfer said there are two types of guys. Those that add life to a team, and those that suck the life out of the team.

They said VB was a guy who sucked the life out of his team.

It was spot on. I guess we got a new nickname for him Vampire Burfict.

I don't wish him ill will, but I do wish him karma.

The only other chance he has if he screws this up is the chance to take our fast food order correctly.

Is that Richard Dean Anderson in your Avatar? McGuyver, Jack O'Neill

It is Richard Dean Anderson as the legendary Angus MacGyver.

Me too. I feel a little bad for the guy. But last year was the perfect opportunity for him to dig in, pull his crap together and have a great year to get ready for the NFL. Expecting him to pull it together now and earn a spot on an NFL team where it is 1000 percent harder than the college level, I don't see it.

He doesn't deserve much in the way of defense in my opinion, but considering his attitude and lack of discipline, he sure wasn't helped by being on a DE team. That dude can't even spell discipline let alone teach it!

Looks like Vontaze made the team.

Congrats, Vontaze. I hope this is a sign of a positive change in his life.

I hope so too.

Still a long time to go before we know how it plays out in total. But so far, he's kept his nose down, and did enough to make the team (or at least the initial 53 man roster before any adjustments).

Good for him.

I am sick and tired about the " role model image. " The Kid had so much Pressure put on him last year at ASU. He just couldn't handle it. Mr. B. and the whole organization has been this way for years, maybe that is why we haven't made the playoff for years.

Here is a good example. This tear Randy Moss was very much available. Could you imagine Fitz at one side and Randy at the other side. Wow would have that opened up the running game and the middle of the field. No we let the 49er's take him our main NFCW concern.

We let "Q" go for his attitude. He still looks as good as ever. We are not playing the Vatican League.

Sorry but I felt that Winning was what we fans wanted. Over 15 years as a season ticket holder I expect more out of this team and Organization. Charles Barkley would have never been trade for if was an ALL-Pro Football Player, his attitude would have come into question. :mulli::bang:
