The Tennessee high school tennis season is in full swing.

Ahead of the season The Daily Herald highlighted the area's top returning players and now it's your turn to select the best, with voting now open for the Columbia area's early season TSSAA tennis player of the year.

Nominees are listed below, with last season's statistics provided by coaches.

Matthew Thomas, Columbia Academy, Jr.: Thomas logged runner-up finishes in the district and region for Division II-A doubles, finishing top eight in the state qualifying for the TSSAA state tournament. Thomas was 8-4 in doubles and 8-3 in singles.

Arianna Eddy, Independence, Sr.: Eddy will play as the No. 2 singles player after finishing as District 12-2A runner-up in doubles last season with a 4-3 singles record and 5-5 doubles record.

Mason White, Independence, Jr.: White was named to the All-District 12-2A second team last season playing No. 1 for the Eagles, going 5-11 in singles.

Annalee Kelly, Summertown, Jr.: Kelly is the two-time defending TSSAA state doubles champion in Class A, helping the Eagles to two team championships in that span.

Emma Perry, Summertown, Sr.: Perry, alongside Kelly, won last season's state championship in Class A doubles, as Summertown brought home its third straight Class A team title.

Sophia Caminiti, Summit, Sr.: Caminiti is a two-time All-District honoree and went 7-2 playing No. 1 singles last season.
