Do not under estimate what Todd Haley knows about Dallas. He was there for three years and I'm sure he has some insights what Romo etc do well and don't do so well.

Good thought process, I'd completely forgotten that.

If there's one team this season that can sneak up on Dallas, it's the Cardinals. (Hell, almost the Bangles.)

The Cowboys have been pretty weak in terms of pass defense. The CB's are complaining about the zone scheme, and Newman has been playing injured.

So Warner, if well protected, will have a field day. Dallas has been able to get a fair amount of pressure on the QB in each game so far, so it's up to the Cardinals O-line to protect Warner. If the Cardinals can't protect him, Dallas will probably take this game unless they completely fall apart offensively. (They have been below average the past 2 weeks.)

I'll be at the game. Actually, I even have an extra ticket. I'll probably just find someone at the stadium looking to get in. Semi-nosebleeds, but it will be my last chance to see them live for awhile. I was tempted to sell them for ridiculous profits, but they were given to us as a gift through a company.

If we're to believe that Dallas is getting soft from its time under Wade Phillips, then this should be a trap game for them. Despite being a better team , I do think it's still in the back of the players' minds that "it's just the cardinals." So, maybe they'll be sleeping.

If they're not sleeping, then I think it will be very, very difficult to beat the Cowboys Sunday.

As an aside (and an aside that doesn't bode well for the "sleeping" theory), I saw one of the Dallas defenders talking after Sunday's game against cinci about WR duos. He said "Other than those guys in the desert, [Cinci's] might be the best."
here's the problem with the trap game theory. the cowboys next few opponents: AZ, STL, TB. St Louis is the team trapped between two potential playoff teams. another thing that doesn't fit the trap theory is the fact that the cowboys have come off of two sluggish weeks by their standards. I don't think they will go into this game on the road thinking it will be easy...especially in a place where they know the cards play very well....coming off a huge win themselves......to me I don't see anything that spells trap.

what I don't believe about the wade phillups soft thing is this. compare his record as the cowboys HC to that of bill parcells. not saying he's a better coach. but just compare the records and the stats. they are inflated a bit and it's because the cowboys are a young team overall that is coming up. but it's funny how the dallas media slams wade phillups when all he has done is win game after game. yet they(aside from a select few) would have never been critical of parcells despite the fact that the cowboys were bearly above 500 during his tenure. I don't see how this cowboys team is "softer" now that parcells is gone. they are better and a much more confident group. if anything they are too confident sometimes. but that doesn't equate to being soft.
