Betting line is basically pick 'em

Historically, Alex Smith doesn't do well against us even in wins. In 12 games he's probably has 2 decent games against us. According to Cardwire, he's 6-6 with 11 TD's, 8 INT's and he's been sacked 30 times. And considering we have a ton of unknowns for this game the fact that so far it's a pick game tells you something.

I am in Washington DC until the 13th, when I first found out I was traveling here for work I was like "hey the Cardinals open against the Redskins, perfect"--then I had to look it up and confirmed it was in Az and was disappointed.

I will hole up in my hotel room and watch the game this weekend. Go Cards!

And considering we have a ton of unknowns for this game the fact that so far it's a pick game tells you something.

Wild cards are Smith AP and their top draft pick Payne (Any of them can beat you......Or not).

Their defense seems to be their strong suit, however - top to bottom.

I'm worried that matching up Alex Smith's short passing game with the Wilks zone will make it Advantage Redskins.

We will have to execute flawlessly to beat these guys, but are more than capable of doing so.

PS - Perennial Card Killer, Vernon Davis, is now a Skin.

This is great news! Having Gresham back gives us another weapon on the offense that we really need. I feel much better about the offense knowing Gresham will be out there with DJ, Fitz and Bradford. If we had one more really good WR our offense would be complete.

Having Cory Peters back means our defensive line is solid again. Hopefully Golden will be playing as well.
