There won’t be any easy games this year. I’m mostly concerned about short passes. The problem with playing this system is the linebackers have quite a bit of coverage responsibility. Bynes looked very weak in coverage last year. Reddick is just beginning to understand these responsibilities, let alone learning technique. Bucannon is likely the most experienced but he’s far from exceptional. Their going to need a safety to offer quite a bit of support. If they don’t get at least above normal pressure on the passer this will be a long day. He’s also a mobile QB so I expect a bunch of safety valve passes to this area as well. I’m not so concerned about the run.

That record was just on road games, we used to have season tickets and have been to well over 100 games, but we at least have 7 wins on the road. So I think the record is like 7-14, but some teams we have seen more than once. So that changes things dramatically. We did win in Dallas, so we got that going for us.

Nobody should be afraid of AP anymore. If he runs for 150 on us thats an indictment of our D not his skill.

Our run D has looked pathetic though thus far. It’s my biggest concern with this team by far.

Blame me all you want. You brought me to all those games before I can pay my way. You brought the jinx... and the Fitz blue has like an 0-5 record... and that was during the Warner years

Anyone who thinks Alex Smith is gonna dominate this game has never watched Alex Smith play. Watch, to end the game, he'll throw a 5 yard checkdown pass on a 4th and 15. I just know it. The 'Skins are the 2nd worst team in the NFC East. People need to stop acting like they're better than us.

What's crazy is that I am surprisingly comfortable with our secondary this year. The wringing of hands since Cromartie left has been noticiably absent for me this season. Outside of Brandon Williams, I have confidence in the unit overall. I don't expect Smith to have a field day against these guys come Sunday,
