The Cardinals' move to put all of their content on Twitter and Periscope has been incredibly annoying and frustrating for me. Most of the twitter videos stop part way through, and with Periscope, instead of being able to click once to play a video, you have to click to play, then click to "expand" the video, which opens up another browser window on the Periscope site, then you have to click to make that video play, then it's about 5 seconds in and you realize that the volume is muted by default, and there's no way on Periscope to move forward or back in the video (or to see how far into the video you are or how long the video is - there's no progress bar).

Maybe there are some settings i can optimize, but regardless, the Cardinals (and the NFL) have made it so that i just don't bother to watch the videos any more.

(These issues add to the existing frustration stemming from the fact that the audio level in most videos produced by the Cardinals is way too low, and at press conferences, you usually can't hear the question that was asked. It would be really easy for the team to add captions or closed captions so we could tell what question was being answered, as I've suggested to them before, but... oh well.)

Guess i'll just read people's reactions to the news here, rather than clicking on team or league videos.

that's funny... that's exactly the type of game I was thinking about as a season opener.

I'm usually ALL IN for an opening day W at home, but I have no clue what to expect from this team.

With it being a team under a new coach, especially a 1st time HC, no one has a clue as to what to expect from this team. We could go 10-6 or we may go 6-10. Seeing the personality of the HC, I do expect a more physical style of football than what we saw under BA. That doesn’t mean we’ll be successful though. I was getting weary of watching us throw 40 yard passes on 3rd & 2. I’m ready for something other than no risk it, no biscuit.

I hope you're excited for three-yard passes on 3rd and six instead.

I think we win this game 24-17.

I don't see why people are twitterpated about the run D. We were a good run D last season and we didn't lose anyone there. Both Buc and Baker are better run defenders than they are players against the pass. Also, AD is no threat to catch the ball at all.

Except for Xavier Williams who I think they’ll miss in the rotation. Agree on the winner and the score.

Or add mics in the room so they can catch what the reporter said.

The last two seasons it’s more like three and out. If it produces 1st downs and helps keep the defense rested I’all be good with it.
Last season the Cardinals lost their starting QB, RB, most of the OL, and much of the TE and WR corps for most of the season.

The season before that, they had the #6 scoring offense in the league. Before that, #2.

It seems that after enduring the disaster that was 2017, some people have already forgotten just how good we had it when Arians had the personnel to execute his "No risk it, no biscuit" offense.

Certainly understand your statement.

My thoughts are for the last two years first downs were minimal. In 2017 lots of big plays but a game controlling offense they were not. They scored too fast at times then would go through 3 or 4 sets of three and outs seriously tiring out the defense.

You're forgetting the weak schedule last year. These were our wins and the final records of those teams:

Colts: 4-12(and we struggled to win that one)
49ersx2: 6-10(and we struggled to win one)
Bucs: 5-11(and we struggled to win that one...sensing a trend here?)
Jags: 10-6
Titans: 9-7
Giants: 3-13(the Giants pretty much mailed in the season by then)
Seahags: 9-7

Now for the losses:

Lions: 9-7
Cowboys: 9-7
Eagles: 13-3
Rams x2: 11-5
Seahags: 9-7
Texans: 4-12(still trying to figure out how we lost this one)
Deadskins: 7-9

So, we basically beat the weak sisters(although we got bounced by a horrible Texans team) but got manhandled by the better teams in the league. Yes we can dance around at going 8-8 with all the injuries but it wasn't anything to celebrate. How we beat 2 playoff teams I'll never know. But even in beating Jax and Tennessee, took a monster FG to beat Jax and the win over Tennessee was one of the most uninspiring wins in my lifetime as a fan. I mean last season we won ugly and lost even uglier.

I think you missed my point. PACardsFan said he was "getting weary of watching us throw 40 yard passes on 3rd & 2. I’m ready for something other than no risk it, no biscuit", and CardNots said "The last two seasons it’s more like three and out."

No argument, the 2017 offense was awful to watch. But, Arians was smart enough to go away from the 40 yard passes and the "no risk it, no biscuit" style in 2017, when the Cardinals no longer had Johnson, Palmer, Floyd, an effective John Brown, and most of the starting O-line available.

Prior to that, Arians' "No risk it, no biscuit" offense was not only extremely fun to watch, but extremely effective in both gaining yards and scoring points.

So when it was working, no one should have been "weary" of watching it. And when it wasn't, Arians eventually abandoned it (perhaps not soon enough, which is probably why people got frustrated) in favor of quicker and shorter passes with QBs who weren't accurate, behind an O-line that couldn't protect, throwing to receivers who couldn't get open deep.

Of course watching an offense that stank was frustrating, but it wasn't "no risk it, no biscuit" that was frustrating. It was not having any good players on offense aside from Fitz that was frustrating.
