I really go back and forth

i want 12 wins and the NFC West title and a home game

but, I'm also not sure it matters, especially when you consider that the #1 seed/bye was lost when AJ Green didnt turn around, and, this team inexplicitly plays far better on the road

I'd rather have the healthiest team possible

I think the problem with Kirk is he's not really the player people thought he'd be. His saving grace being that he's developed in to an excellent deep threat. However, he's not as make you miss, break tackles Steve Smith/Antonio Brown (not saying he had to be that good, but those type of wrs) type people were hoping for. Still really solid.
Yeah, we're so low-key resting players for the playoffs. There isn't even a question at this point.
All well and good. However, if no Conner then better hope Ward and Eno can handle pass pro.

I’m guessing if there’s no Conner in addition to no Chase, Kyler gets a quarter or two and is then pulled. Going an entire game depending on Ward and Eno for pass pro is a dangerous proposition right before a playoff game.

I understand what he’s saying, but that’s an awfully arrogant quote from a dude who just made the playoffs for the first time. Glad he’s set his sights high though.

Also this: I guarantee you if we won the division cardinals fans would remember next year. And for years. Isn’t that who matters?
I wouldn’t.

Different fanbase(Seattle), but I bet their fans don’t care to remember winning the division in 2020 against the Rams only to get knocked out by them in the playoffs a few weeks later.

or worse: the 49ers in week one

not that is a pure either/or

but i would rather be on the road with a healthy Conner, Wilson, Edmonds, Phillips, etc vs the Cowboys than at home vs the 49ers with half those guys out because they re-aggravated an injury vs the Seahawks

My gut tells me we face the 49ers. Kyle has McVay's #.

However, reading your post reminds me how we have lost quite a few guys to injury vs the 49ers this year. So just in terms of the physical toll Im kinda hoping for the Cowboys as well.

Shanahan’s streak against McVay has been emphasized so much this week that I’m starting to think it’ll end this week. Reminds me of emphasized McVay’s streak against us was prior to week 4’s matchup. Winning or losing, I bet we’ll start pulling our starters.

We’ll Kittle came out and said tomorrows game between SF & the Rams is going to be a blood ball and that the more physical is going to win.

If we get lucky, the 9ers win while injuring a bunch of guys as they put it on the line this week.

Really? You can’t tell me when the cards have won the division? And just a year later? I think you fall into a very small minority of cards fans rabid enough to post on ASFN.

It’s crazy to realize the difference one play makes on a season. if Green just turns around for that layup TD to win the GB game, we’d be looking at a win tomorrow to get HFA for the entire playoffs.
Yup it’s why the cliche “game of inches” rings so true. Also a reason why so many posters get as worked up over a single play sometimes. It can have an indelible impact on an entire season.

That's a usage issue. In his first year with Rosen he was really good in the screen game and the YAC stuff. Even Kliff year one he had something like 10 carries and 9 yards per.

We just stopped using him that way for some reason.
