I might not agree with some of the choices the new regime has made, but at least I could see what they're doing, I knew the plan... like... the plan is to suck, to be absolutely awful and get high picks, that is why we let productive players go for no return and without making competitive offers... right?
If that is the plan then how does giving up a pick (no matter how late) for a 28 year old QB who has been nothing but garbage make sense?
We "wanted" him in offseason but couldn't make the money work... HOW?!?! How could we not make the money work? He makes nothing! We have a TON of cap space!
So we chose to let him sign a contract we didn't like, then spent a pick to get him on that deal?
I cannot make any sense of this whatsoever.
McCoy is probably done... Dobbs probably never began, go with the guy you already paid for, or even Blough, or McSorley or Tom Tupa.
In and of itself, it is not a big deal, but I am considerably more troubled when I try to make sense of what this team is doing.
There is zero upside to this move... zero.
