not sure how you guys think #2 WR wasn't a huge need on this team. It has been for the last two years. This team had two huge needs... #2 WR and OT... and we filled one of them.

What? You didn't read the posts defending Doucet when I said I could care less if he left as a free agent? :p

Thanks for proving my point! Let's draft a WR when our QB Kevin friggin won't be able to get him the ball.

So you think we should have drafted Brandon Weedon?

Well with the run on Oline, its a real shame that none of them will be available at our next pick

Oh wait there hasn't been an Olineman picked besides Kalil

We don't pick again for 60 picks.

I would like to add someone who can put constant pressure on the QB to the list.

OT OLB WR

and they're about a dozen Olineman with a 1st or 2nd round grade (and I'm probably underestimating that) that haven't gotten a sniff yet. Hell a 30 year old QB was taken before the 2nd Olineman was selected

I guess people were right in that Oline is being de-emphasized league wide, which I personally find weird but whatever

Weeden? Wow.

Next highest rated QB.

However since you brought it up I think he's the, to use the old cliche, most NFL ready QB available after Luck. If he were 5 years younger he'd have gone top 5.

Like I've said before if I needed a QB to play right away Weedon would be my pick. Miami would have been better off trading out and taking the former OSU signal caller. I just don't think they're in a 3 year development mode and that they could win right away with Brandon. But we'll see.

Hey we have Sam Acho and Calais Campbell and Darnell Dockett. You don't think those 3 guys are going to be putting constant pressure on QBs this fall?

Sure it isn't one guy but its even better when we have 3 players DC's have to account for on passing downs.

For those concerned with his off field problems...

First... Cards must have done their homework

Second... Didn't Dockett have similar concerns and the reason he dropped to third round?

I think he will be ok with good mentoring.

Dockett had temper issues I don't recall him having been arrested 3 times in college.

If everyone on this board was judged for how much they drank from 18-22 very few of us would be friendly with one another.

You forgot OB on the other side of Acho

BTW Stout, love ya brother. I don't care if people disagree. I was just trying to be funny.

Love him or hate him, Floyd is a Cardinal and everyone should hope he kicks as much ass as I think he will.

Fitz, Floyd, Early, Roberts, Housler. We have a few weapons.

If everyone was looking at millions of dollars and was still drinking enough to get arrested 3 times in college that would be a good comparison.

It's just very unusual for this franchise to take a kid with that kind of history.

Hope it works, some guys wake up one day and realize it's time to grow up, I hope Floyd has that wakeup call.

The rich are getting richer.. like all 3 of the last picks.

It happens. Look who we got when we were down at the bottom. Beanie Wells and Dan Williams. This is a solid draft class. Not really and true superstars but a LOT of good football players.

Well, more then a year ago since getting in trouble is technically history, so you got a point.
