I like Floyd, I just wish we would have fixed the massive holes in our oline first.

What ever happened to building your team from the "inside-out?"

Le sigh

What I love the most is that the Cardinals continue to just take the guy they have highest on their board and say f need. That is the way you should draft.

I agree also. This is why the Cardinals are getting better at drafting. Only wish the Suns could learn to draft BPA instead of drafting for need.

If one thinks Floyd is going to be a bust, it is more out of just plain not liking the guy or the Fighting Irish because unlike other guys (see Tannehill), he has proven he can play to me. We will see. Is he Boldin? Not many are but can he be a solid number two...absolutely

This one's for you SKORP!!!

You just know Skorp was working his magic from above on this one. For those of you who didn't know our captain, he bled Irish gold.

When was the last time we drafted a Notre Dame player in the 1st round?

I am thrilled with the pick---I never thought Floyd would be available at #13. He is a top ten talent for sure and an ideal fit for our offense---physical, strong, go up and get it WR. A+ value.

I see this as David Boston Part II. Big, talented WR, off-field issues will ruin his career.

Boston was way more athletic as well. This guy Floyd is not a fluid athlete. Bust city.

Worst take ever

I just hope the first thing he does with his signing bonus is hire himself a driver so he doesn't get in more trouble.

But I have to assume the Cards did their homework

Like ALL the other posters on this board I don't know how the pick will turn out. I do know he was rated as one of the Best Available when the Cards made the pick. Bottom line I'm happy with the pick, but also realize that we need an OT and an OLB.

P.S. It sounds stupid to me to see the pick labeled as the best or worst pick ever. That chapter is yet to be written.

Oh and...

(Insert ridicously over the top wrestling picture that makes me look dumber than the picture I posted. Ifyou are a nerd and watch wrestling like I do, I am sure you can figure it out)

Meanwhile Irvin, Bryant, Long, willis, and others will continue to break our QB's and give them no time to throw the ball.

I agree because Reiff was staring them in the face, and they went talent over need. I am impressed.

That's like saying people shouldn't be scared when in a knife fight with a hobo because being calm would be a much better reaction!

Couldnt agree more Mitch. I am thrilled. I wanted an OT so bad. But Floyd was to good to pass up.
