Two terrible throws and ints. Only saved on one due to a hold. He blows. You know he got a lot of reps this week too. :bang:

Matt suffers from Plummeritus Longevitus. It's a disease that allows you to have a lengthy and lucrative pro career with little or no talent because you were so good in college up against horrible Pac 10 talent.

Seriously, Matt Leinart is sooooo bad. He's just.... I mean he's just plain awful.

You must admit, Leinart throws a beautiful looking interception, time after time.

He does throw a tight spiral, though it's 15 yards overthrown from his intended receiver. It is pretty tho. Matt's so dreamy. He should take us to the prom with our deer we keep in the house.

What makes you say that? They were starting the game plan for next week. Kurt got most of the reps. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that.

Shane, just like I posted below before he came in. This is a great opportunity to evaluate what he has. Playing with the first string in a regular season home game; no excuses.

The few remaining Leinart supporters will point to the fact that he didn't get enough reps with the starters during the week. But you and I both know that this is complete garbage; Leinart has had year after year of reps with this high powered offense and still cant place the ball where it belongs.

We should be in a position to draft Tony Pike. I say take him

Seriously,it should not take, what 4 years now, for a QB - a highy touted one at that - to become a little bit better than horrible. That's where Leinart is now.

When we drafted him, I LOVED the pick, but c'mon. Now I'm right on the edge of the cliff of saying he's gotta go this offseason. There's gotta be some way to find a backup for some other team who can come in here and split duty with Warner during his final season.

I REALLY wanted to trade Leinart for Schaub a couple offseasons ago (I think) and that's the kind of move we need to look for this year....

I'm betting he got more than usual. Whiz knew the chances of giants winning was somewhere between slim and none.

Plus Matt is great at doing his second job as a "Vest Coordinator"

pathetic showing by cards. coaching staff and players alike.

I think this is a bit much. They aren't at all playing their gameplan. The coaches rightfully are playing possum. This is exactly what I wanted to see this week. The players are playing poorly individually and I would llike to see some effort from the guys who are playing and usually ride the pine, but to excoriate the organization like you have is way beyond overkill....

I think all but the most hardcore Matt apologists will steer clear of this thread.

I actually think this will be a good game for Leinart's development if Whis continues to let him throw the ball.

I know the pick's aren't encouraging but they have been reigning him in for so long that I think it will actually be a good thing, regardless of turnovers, to let him cut it loose and start learning from these mistakes.

I'm reminded of some of Warner's travels where he was so constricted by "don't make a mistake" playcalling. In this meaningless game, I think it's a great opportunity to throw down field and start seeing what happens when you throw the ball to certain places.
