Even though these aren't NFL

Best - Penn St.'s stadium. Holds 110,000 and it's packed for every game. Great atmoshphere.

Worst - Rose Bowl in Pasadena. What a friggin' sardine can. Imagine the bleachers at SDS with about a foot taken out of your footspace. Plus, it's a pain to get to and the food stands suck.

CandleStick is aweful. Not only is it in the most ghetto section on SF, its old, grey, ugly and just a down right crappy stadium. I'm suprised the wine and cheesers don't have a better stadium....

Bad:

SDS-For me its not that I get the opportunity to share bodily fluids with everyone around me (sweat and sports just seem to go together), it's the cramped confines (would a little more space be a bad thing when it's 110?), the lousy pi$$ers (the guy the engineered those must have been an ASU grad, put the In and Out side by side and squeeze everyone into the Phone booth, brilliant), the crappy food (is it so hard to have local resturants bring in some local favorites?), and the stigma of Sun Devil residue (they can't consistantly put butts in the seats in 'their' stadium, how can that be good carma for an outsider?)

The Metrodome-A field designed to cripple young men, fans that are as abusive as almost any in the league, and that DAMN HORN being amplified in that shell (my ears are still bleeding).

Good:

Arrowhead-Great fans, great tailgating, even though it's getting older it's still comfortable.

Best - The new Stadium in Nashville where the Titans play, truly fan friendly.

Worst - Franklin Field in Philly before the "Vet" (bad also),

HI!

are we allowed to use CFL stadiums on here as well??

If so, I would have to say the best stadium I ever seen was Toronto's Skydome.

As far as the NFL is concerned, well the Houston Astrodome, before it became outmoded & regrettably had to be replaced with Reliant. The first domed stadium ever built & nother ever like it my opinion.

The worst stadium, well grand prize winner none other than the Vet, Philadelphia.

The runners up are none other than the Seahawks former home the Kingdome & the Metrodome in Minneapolis.

Gotta agree with what everyone said about the Vet! Although I, too, have fond memories of the place. Going to the Phillies game with my dad and my late grandfather and late uncle, ordering hot dogs and getting my bright blue Phillies raincoat ... but I digress.

Texas stadium was fun adn the tailgating rocked, but what is up with that long-ass walk from the lot to the stadium? We parked so far away that there was a tram to come and get you ... and they made you PAY for it. (That's after the $12 parking fee!) We walked. And, if you wanted to buy a beer before noon, you had to buy a food item, too ... as if THAT would stop us all from getting drunk, LOL! Peanuts were the cheapest.

Sorry to say I wasn't impressed with SDS. Bleachers are not pleasant. But, the atmosphere was fun and I had an absolute blast being there! :)

The old Seattle Kingdome was the biggest piece of trash on the inside. Sucked for baseball and football.

I'm sorry, but I do like SDS. I have a lot of memories as a kid watching Cards and Sun Devils play. Funny, at that age, I don't even remember the heat.

I'll have to say that Lambeau is magical, though. That whole town is absolutly Mecca for a football fan. You can't help but cheer on a team that has managed to be supported by a town the size of Flagstaff.

I know...I know. Milwaulkie and Chicago are close, but still...

Soldier Field is a pit. The "renovations" will make it even worse this year.

The "RCA Dome" in indianapolis is a frickin' barn. The old Cleveland Municipal Stadium was horrid too.

As far as great stadiums, the nicest I've visited are the Pontiac Silverdome (why it's coming down is beyond me) and St Louis (TWA dome or whatever).

And let's not kid ourselves, SDS is the worst facility in the NFL.

The VET in Philly. I used to go and see the Cards play the Eagles. The last time I went there, I stood up to cheer a Card touchdown and some guy threw a beer bottle that missed me and hit the guy in fromt of me. It was a great break for his buddy because he got to help carry the guy down to the Eagle's bench so that the team doc could check his buddy over. The guy spent his time shaking hands with the players and patting them on the butt. It did put bit of a hamper on my cheering the Cards when they moved the ball.

That's just it. I don't think that anyone knows. It is some sort of liquid that oozes from the walls. I call The Vet the "origin of Stadium Goo"

Allegedly it's a coagulation of various fluids - some bodily, I'm sure, hopefully most, not - and dirt/decomposing food/assorted squi - that have spilled/leaked/overflown/etc. in the stadium and it leaks through cracks on the field level.

They had real bottles in the stadium? That's nuts!

I've only been to two. SDS and Mile High. Mile High is gone now so it may no longer count. SDS could be a lot better for sure but I some how end up "suffering" through a great time every home game anyway. The new stadium should be sweet.

Oh hell, if parking is what the problem was, allow me to correct it on behalf of the Dallas Cowgirls organization. We want you to be comfortable, therefore, Mr. BradMannTx has been authorized as an official parking space of the Dallas Cowgirls.

I am exactly 2500 feet from loop 12, which is the freeway separating civilization from Texas Stadium...only $2 a car if you're a cards fan, $53 a car if you even think about liking the 'girls.

My son and I were there too. Its a great stadium but the only thing that soured me was during the national anthem at the end when she sang ... and the home of the brave all the fans yell out chiefs. That Stunk!!!!!!!!!

Bite your tongue! No mention of the Mecca? Or have you not been there yet?

Worst Stadium - Cowboys...just stupid. everything about it!

Best Stadium - Chiefs...Loudest I've ever heard anything in my life. Very knowledgable fans, and tailgating is on par with Green Bay fans!
