Their identity under Keim is crystal clear to me:

It’s a team that lacks accountability and who accepts mediocrity and even failure, from the top of the organization on down.

Steve Keim is the Jeff Fisher of GMs. Fooled everyone into thinking he could do the job his first three years but has been either mediocre or a complete failure ever after.

What? WHAT? Our head coach has no idea what our identity is? That is shambolic.

Now, before I go off on KK, what was the context? If he meant he's exasperated with the team and that they aren't shaping into his identity--well, that's bad, but better, at least. If he truly means he has no idea...that would be dire.

I think either way is just as bad. If he is exasperated by the lack of his identity then he has failed to imprint his offense on the players or his identity doesn't fit the personnel he has to work with.

I could care less about identity. The patriots identity changes every week for 15 years and no one cares.

I don't think their identity has changed at all. It has been their weekly game plans that change. Their identity has remained pretty constant imo.

What is that identity? I don't see them as a passing team or a running team or etc.

Jesus. I called Kliff Kingsbury the Matt Stafford of coaches. Worthless stats that don’t translate to wins. Anyone have one for Bidwill?

no. Bidwill is still amongst the Bidwills of the league until this team finally becomes a consistent winner.

That is exactly their identity: flexibility.

Or has been. This year it has had to shift because he doesn't have the personnel for anything but their power run game.

The Patriots identity has always been discipline/good defense and ST/the ability to adjust on offense.

I think that the speculation about this team is rapidly heading into idiocy.
