I doubt it. He has huge question marks but he also still has considerable untapped potential. IMO, if you threw him back in the draft today with full disclosure about him to this point, he'd still probably go in the lottery or shortly past that. He won't have that much value to us because everyone knows he's tainted but I think someone would pony up a pick in the late teens.
How about now?

Honestly, I really don't know. If he just smoked pot in front of his 4 month old baby, I'd want to keep him away from her too but I don't see it as the end of the world like so many here seem to do. If he actually hot boxed around her, that's different but I don't know if that's what he's being accused of. I'll wait to see if this is Josh being a complete ass or a mother trying whatever she can to get Jackson out of her life.

I know this is old guy thinking but I'd prefer to avoid any player that regularly smokes weed, even if legal. And I've often wondered if that didn't have a big role in why Jackson is a stud at times and in the conversation for worst player in the history of the league at other times.

That is funny. The largest group of weed smokers is the social security crowd. As a former manager of senior housing apartments, I think those statistics are true! LOL. Those damn kids and their weed! :madarms:

Suns are interested in Holiday, Aaron... Is this the worng Brooks fiasco all over again? Seriously though, how many point guards do we want from the 2018 draft?

Yeah, I really don't see the need for another developmental PG, unless they think his brother will demand to be traded here if we land him.

Lately we have been getting the "other" brother.

God, no. He was worse last year than Okobo and Melton and wasn't even good enough to unseat an awful Cory Joseph for back-up duties. WTF is the Suns front office thinking???

I'm not sure you could even fill out roster with NBA talent if you enforce this restriction.

Oh, I wasn't talking about the casual smoker, that would probably take out 95% of the league.

I'd love to see stats on usage in the NBA. I wonder how heavy usage correlates with stats. I bet the heavy users would not be surprising and it correlate strongly with the chronic underachievers, pun intended.

Agreed. I think there are some that can smoke it regularly and still function at their best but my experience suggests that it's not typical. Most are like the Morris twins IMO.

I bet my friend $10 he was gonna contradict that rumor ha

The rumor didn't make sense to be either. Suns already have two rookie point guards that looked better last season.

If the Pacers want to trade Holiday or Sabonis, I have more interest in Sabonis.

Ya sun's don't need another player with potential to be a PG, the need a player who is actually a PG right now , most of these rumors just seem too stupid to be real

Exactly. A lot of the rumors grow legs by some members of the media trying to break the story first.

You guys didn't read the rest of Gambos tweets - look at the replies, says the Suns will have 2 PGs soon, then says he will tell us about it at 2pm today.

Sounds like a trade has been agreed to - lets pray it is for Jrue.

I worked in a company that was about 70% alcoholics, and about 25% chronic weed smokers. I did notice a phenomena at that company. Almost 100% attendance among the weed smokers. There was notable high absenteeism on Mondays by the alcoholics. We had a shop dust up between the two groups, and even though I counted myself among the drinkers, I pointed this attendance issue to the whole shop, and the drinkers had to admit they were slacking compared to the weed smokers. That point I made put an end to the disagreement.

Yes, the amount of bull poo being spun right now gives me a headache.

The Suns go without a starting point guard for two seasons and now they are going to add two?

I'm wondering why Gambo buried the tweet as a reply.

Ugh, someone brought up the Jrue rumor and asked Gambo if it had any validity, and he replied No.

I am thinking one is going to be a draft pick.
