What one big would you add to this team if you could?

I think Joakim Noah would be the one, but if the Brow keeps developing I might have to go there.

From the entire league? I'd get Durant and play him at center... just to drive BC crazy.

Oh, okay... the world of fantasy. It would be a blast to see Noah on this team... we'd be contenders. He'd help us in so many ways. Bosh wouldn't interest me if we had to pay his salary.

I love me some Noah but I can't see how anybody would choose him before AD.

I think I'd go for Deandre Jordan or Anthony Davis. Or if we were talking about player we might actually be able to acquire I'd aim more for Sanders, Plumlee or maybe even Monroe. A one year test drive on Monroe at center to how we fare with him playing it full time.

You want a realistic player and not a dream?

Kelly Olynyk. Perfect fit for what the Suns are trying to become.

Or let's go back in the time machine just a half a year ago. Omer Asik or Pau Gasol. Either one of those two and this team would be a contender.

LOL.

ANY player? I think you'd have to go with Durant. Although Davis is a CLOSE second.

Realistically, PHX lacks a go to man in the paint. I'll concede Monroe would not have put this team over the top but I wish PHX could have landed Pau. He may be old and more fragile but no one can deny he would not have been a good fit because of his range and skills. You know 18/9 would be guaranteed every night, that can't be said for any big on the current roster, plus he is one of the best passing big men in the league. CHI really stole him for $10M a year.

Well, probably more like 16/9 but your point is correct, we have no one that can match that down low. But Pau's skills are eroding and reportedly his agent made it clear he didn't want to be in Phoenix. I would have jumped at the chance to sign him as a free agent for a couple of years but my preference would have been for a defensive presence instead. But since we have neither an offensive minded nor a defensive minded center, I wouldn't even say no to a trial run with Monroe if we didn't have to break the bank to acquire him.

I was really thinking other than LeBron and Durant but didn't bother to say it.

So, aside from Durant and LBJ. .

Anthony Davis
Chris Bosh
Joakim Noah
Pau Gasol
Monroe

Any others. Drummond?

Well, you did say a "big" so I thought that pretty much excluded those two. Durant is tall enough but he still looks like a stick out there and Lebron went on a strict diet so he could return to small forward form. Neither of them solve our center problem.

IMO, Anthony Davis is every thing you want in a young power forward and center. However, I think it might be best to stick to those players who might be available. However, this is where I draw a blank. I'm hoping McDonough might have someone in mind but it might mean, wait until next year's draft.

I'd go with Allen Iverson. We need some veteran, unselfish off-the-ball-virtuositiy at the guard position. I think he could easily take 20 to 30 shots per game in today's NBA!

Looking at present bigs, not including Durant or LeBron, and thinking of one who was reasonably available, even Tyson Chandler would have been a good "get" this summer.
