I guess we have to give Sutton credit for changing his style from day to day to suit his color commentator.
With Grace, he becomes juvenile. With Williams, he delves into the nuances of the game. With Joe, Sr., he gets into nostalgia.
But hopefully he'll become stronger and begin to influence them as much as they influence him.
Regarding Traber, here's my annual tribute to the man without a mind.
Yup, the time he told Thom Brennaman that he didn't ride the trolley cars in San Francisco (uh Jim, they're cable cars) because he stayed in his hotel room drinking. (Don't try that at home, kids.)
