Kyler’s one season starting at OU was probably the most QB-friendly situation possibly ever. Playing for Lincoln Riley, surrounded by NFL players in a conference that doesn’t play defense. That situation made Baker Mayfield look like Peyton Manning. It’s really hard to judge a QB’s response to adversity in such an fluffy environment. Last year Murray flamed out because of injury. No excuses if it happens again.
