I'll be there, unless someone wants to pay me 8x face value for my tickets. I hate the Cowboys just as much as the next guy, but this will nearly pay for season tickets next year.

Other than that, I'll be cheering on the Cards and get my usual headache from screaming.

My wife did not want to go to this game as recently as this morning. I told her I was going either way because I wouldn't do that to the cards fans around me. She sent me this article at like 10 am and said she is going for sure. If Kurt and the Whiz can change her tune maybe others will think the better of selling those tickets as well. If any of my co season ticket holders in earshot sell their tickets, there will be hell to pay on Monday Nov 10th.

As one of those out of towners who salivate over any chance to go to a home game (no U of P till next year for me) I gotta say I'm shocked that anyone but a scalper would sell tickets to a team and fans that respect the Cardinals as little as the Cowboys and their following.

I understand intellectually all the financial reasons to sell, but emotionally it just doesn't play.

i understand where Kurt and Wiz are coming from wanting it to be a serious home-field advantage, but this country is in economic chaos right now and there's a lot of people out there who need to scratch and claw their way just to make rent. A multi-milionaire telling people "it stinks" to try and help yourself rather than watch a football game just seems incredibly out of touch with the economic realities of what's going on in our society.

Like I said, it has to be a big investment to make it worth my time. If someone wants to buy my tickets for one game, and that will allow me to nearly pay for next year's tickets right there, I'm doing it. Especially in these economic times.

i understand where Kurt and Wiz are coming from wanting it to be a serious home-field advantage, but I think any sentence that is "we know times are tough" from these guys is pretty damn tough to swallow. If people can make a lot of money of this while everyone is freaking out about money, as a multi-milionaire, I wouldn't begin to presume I knew what "tough" was.

They make a lot of money, but they spend a lot too.

emotionally it doesn't play? Tell that to people who have lost thousands of dollars over the last two weeks and are looking at any way to recoup that money because who knows when or if they're ever gonna get that back.

previous years, fine, I understand being a little hard on folks looking to make cash, but with where this country is, especially in light of the last 3 weeks of disaster, people getting what they can, when they can makes the most sense financially and emotionally as far as I'm concerned.

I've been offered 3x face value for my tix (face is $70). That's some decent $$ for sure, but I just can't bear the thought of a Cowgirl fan sitting in my seats... I'll be at the game and will no doubt endure the wrath than always, always comes when Cowgirl fans are in the nest...

By posting my thoughts in the first place, I kinda did.

a quck perusal of StubHub and Craig's list shows many tix still available --

the ask is bewteen 2x and 3x face value --- some higher. Tix in my section are listed on Stubhub for 3.5x the face value.

Some of these I wonder if people are listing them at their "at this price its worth it to me to not go to the game" price just to see if somebody pays that

I have sold my upstairs tickets for quite a few games over the past three seasons. Sold $25 tickets for the Steelers for $225 IIRC.

The market is flooded for the Cowboys game. Everything is way overpriced given the sheer number of tickets available.

I've never sold my end zone seats and it would take quite a bit (5x face+) to do so.

The market is flooded IMO because of the program that they put in allowing season ticket holders to purchase these seats. I'd wager that a good portion of the seats available are these. Creating the exact opposite of their intention by doing this.

Plasma Center - 2x a week at $60 per pop, about an hour session according to a coworker of mine who makes $480+ a month tax free doing this.
$6,240 per year.

I sold my extra two seats at 4X face value. Some scalper here in AZ bought them. I usually just give them to my friends but couldn't pass up the extra cash.

My wife and I will be there in my other two seats.

I thought about selling my seats, not because I needed the money, but because I just didn't want to be sitting in a sea of cowgirl fans. The people around me never seem to be Cardinal fans and the thought of dealing with Cowboy fans all game just didn't seem worth it to me. Make some cash and avoid the hassle...

Then the REAL fan in me slapped me silly and reminded me of how sweet it would be when the Cards won and the Cowboy fans sulked away with their tails between their legs.

I am not missing that for anything.

I have been struggling with this for the past couple of weeks. Tickets in my section (111) are going for 4X value which having 4 seats would bring me a lot of $$$.

Anyway I've decided that no matter what the cost I will NOT sell to a Cowboy's fan; just couldn't look at myself in the mirror if I did.

Having said that I will sell 2 of my 4 seats to someone on this board for $150 each as I've decided to not bring my 2 kids to this game as I think it will get nasty. PM me if you have an interest.

If you've looked at prices at all I could sell these seats for twice that amount; just not going to do it to the folks who sit around me or the Cardinals.

They both made it clear that they understood why people would sell their tickets and Warner even said "it's hard to tell someone not to do something which will make them money."

Warner said the thought of losing the home field advantage they've worked so hard for - stinks. Not the actual people selling their seats.

Are you just trying to bang your economic drum in every thread? :D

I didn't renew my tickets this season because the cost. If I would have I would have sold them this game just to pay for the tickets, I think in these harsh times if you can make enough to almost pay for all your tickets on one game it would be foolish not too. I could easily sit at home and watch on HD with a pocket full of cash and feel just fine about it.

Easy for the millionares to say not to sell, for real people with real bills that have to work everyday to pay them its not such an easy decision.

One of my buddies is selling one of his tickets. He sits in Sec. 406. Face value $40. He is running in to tough times and I offered to buy his one extra ticket for $80 and buy beer and meat for the tailgate. So I will be there loud and proud!! :raccoon:
