I bought extra seats when the new stadium opened. I have 4 seats so when my kids are old enough I can bring the entire family to the game.

However right now I just give the extra seats to friends or family. Although when the new schedule is announced I scan the home games and locate the teams with chumps willing to pay an arm and a leg for my extra two tickets. I have zero problem selling my extra two tickets for a massive profit.

It's going to pay for my playoff tickets!
How old are your kids? I have been bringing three of mine since they were 5 months old. The youngest is now 3 and she is a veteran fan and cheers more then most adults at the games. Start them early and they will know how to behave later.:)

P.S Not to add fuel to the fire, but my kids won't be selling to cowboy fans in the future either.:D

So, are those that are understanding of selling off tickets indifferent to whether the stadium is filled with red or with blue? It sure seems that way.

Not indifferent, just understanding...

My tickets sold on Ebay in a matter of hours. A local scalper bought them from me.

Now remember I have the cheapest of cheap seats so getting 5X face value is very easy. $25 X 5 = $125. That $250 almost paid for one of my season tickets (minus the $5 per game fee).

That just seems odd to me when there are seats listed in the lower sections for $150 a piece... Why would someone pay you $125 for your nose-bleeders when they can spend $150 for lower section seats??
Sounds like you found some serious suckers...

The way I see it. So many scalpers bought season tickets that my extra two that I sell occasionally won't make that much of a differnce.

I sold my extra two seats almost two weeks ago. Mine were the cheapest up there at the time.

He's still going to the game.

So am I. If I could find someone to sell mine for 8X, I'd do it. Linda and I have talked about doing that, and buying some cheaper ones. If we couldn't or didn't, we'd (or I'd) just watch at home.

Watching the game is the important thing.

LOL I was just about to say - if you sold your tickets for 8x ... you could buy cheaper tickets and still go to the game (which is better than Europe anyway).

You haven't even tried to sell? List your seats and show for once that you actually believe in something that you are saying.

Selling your tickets for 8x the price to a Cowpie fan, then watching the Cardinals crush them anyway: Priceless.

And all of this just points out that there are far too many unsold season tickets. If season ticket holders know that they can just sell their seats and get cheaper one's I can certainly see the publicity campaign by Warner and Whis. As it stands, there isn't a consequence to selling your season seat.

And this will happen when people switch their loyalties from whichever city they moved from to the Cards. More Cards fans here in AZ, the demand for the tickets will go down, and it won't be feasible for some to sell their tickets anymore.

That makes no sense. Go ask any Packers fan how much it costs to buy tickets to a game at Lambeau. More cards fans would just mean that the tcikets would be bought by Cards fans.

You say that is what you are demanding, but where have you listed your tickets? Did the guy shoot your dog or something? This is weird.

Isn't that your guys' major malfuction in all this? Selling to opposing team's fans. If we have so many fans here that the tickets are going to Cards fans at scalped prices, what's the deal? If that's the case, I REALLY don't see what the problem is.

I was able to purchase 4 extra seats because we have season tickets. The 4 extra's I got I paid $200 for and sold them at the beginning of the season for well over $800. If anyone is selling tickets now...do it on ebay...stub hub is a waste of time. Ebay tickets are going for good money...but you better have them on a one day fire sale.

When some fan is going to make that much money...I don't fault them one bit.

If the Cards are winning...they can sit there just like the Bills fans did...

What? Are you serious. My post was a response to your idea that if people converted to Cardinals fans that would somehow drive down the re-sale value of Cardinals tickets. Where have you listed your tickets?

Your putting the cart before the horse on this one.. If 50% of the Cards fans sold out their tix to opposing fan then one of the things that gives us homefield advantage is gone.. Cards fans cheering.. Therefore its not a foregone conclusion those opposing fans would sitting their like the Bills fans did.. Instead it might by Cards fans sitting their like they did..

It is the Dallas fans that are driving the prices of the tickets, not Cards fans. I thought that was obvious. Have you ever noticed that the price of scalped tickets depends on which team we are playing?

Today, Dallas fans are driving the price, but you said that if valley football fans converted to Cardinals fans, the Cardinals would sell more season tickets and that would drive the resale value down. If that ever happened, hypothetically, the Cardinals would be the big ticket in town every week. Cardinals fans who converted but didn't get season tickets, would want to pay just as much just to see the Cards play, and yes, bigger games would still command bigger dollar. Look around at every pro sports team in America and it reigns true. See the Red Sox, Suns, and Packers just to name a few. Your point is seriously flawed.

Exactly. Not looking forward to the loud cheers when the Cowboys do something well. We don't do as well on the road. Hope this isn't Texas Stadium West all over again...
