abomb, I've been trying to get to the bottom of this for awhile now but you keep ducking the issue.

You seem to dislike the Colts a lot. Now they show up on the bottom of your list, a scratch above the Pats :barf:

Is it all Dungy?? I mean, really...what is NOT to like about that Colts team?

82 and Earthsci are jerk faces. :D
I grew up a Pats fan. My family is from Quincy, Mass. I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for the Pats, unless they are playing the Cards.

I really would like to see the Pats go all the way... 19 & 0 would be like watching Dimaggio set his 56 game streak.

More like watching Barry Bonds break Hank Aaron's home run record.

Donald, try showing up to a Yankee game wearing a Red Sox hat...

Went to a Cards/Pirates game in Pittsburgh a couple of years ago. Three guys showed up with blue hair and blue faces wearing Dodger jerseys. They were a week early.

The look on their faces when the usher told them the Dodgers game was the next week was funniest thing I've ever seen at a baseball game.

I gotta go with 82 on this one.. I still dont understand this so called fued the lakers/celtics are somehow suppose to have.. But neighoring cities like Boston and NY that have teams that go back 100 years? Ya, I think thats a real fued..

Now 82, shut up with your wanting the Pats to win will ya? :D

Gee - trust me buddy - this will be the ONLY time you will ever see me support the Pats as a team. I despise them as a New Yorker is born and bred to do!
However, I have no ill-will towards Brady, Seau, Bruschi, Vrabel, Welker, etc... And again, seeing a team do something that will most likely never be done again - that's just cool to me...

Hey, the impact of Bonds' cheating is very real to see... The Pats got caught in week 1... How that enabled them to go 16 & 0 is beyond me...

Additionally, I seriously question just how much it helps when a team has videotape of the another teams signals... But that's just me...

Seahawks, no question. I've got to pull for an NFC West team before anyone else. If Seattle goes down, I'll switch to whoever wins the NFC. Can't go against the conference.

Patriots - Randy Moss can finally get his ring.
Redskins - A few players from The U and it'd be awesome for them to win one for Sean.

Jacksonville. My mom used to travel there for business back in the day. A lot of her coworkers there sucked her into liking the Jags. Would be nice for her to enjoy a Super Bowl win, especially now that she lives in Florida.

I'm usually indifferent to the Patriots, but the opportunity to witness history is very intriguing to me. I hope they do it, if for no other reason than being able to tell stories to my grandchildren someday about it.

Having said that, I actually voted for the Packers, because I really like and respect Brett Favre and I'd like to see him go out as a Superbowl champion. He deserves another ring.

A Pats-Packers Superbowl would be OK in my book, and I'd be happy either way.

Ultimately, anybody but Dallas won't really bother me. If the Cowboys win it, I'll be sick.

Research the NBA championships for about three decades.

Oh, and I wonder if you realize where the "Beat L.A." chant came from.

Celts 16 titles. Lakers 14. So many frigging seven game series. Jerry West. Magic & Bird. Bill Russell's dominance of the Lakers.

I think your hate for them is just yours.. Not a city that hates a city hate ..

Any Lakerfan over the age of 25 likely hates the Celts. Over 30 wants to murder key players in their sleep. Over 45? Oh man...I can't even imagine.

Boston hates Lakers slightly less, other than the 80s ones where we got the better, but mostly because they killed us in the sixties. The Lakers were their whipping boys.

Red Sox/Yankees is the bigger rivalry no doubt, but the Lakers/Celts played for the title....dreams crushed by one or the other more times than I care to remember. Until recently, the Red Sox were losers. That's kind of like the Kings Lakers rivalry...the Lakers smoked 'em over and over, but there was a lot of hate there. The Red Sox/Yankees just had 100 years to perfect the hatred.
