It's weird that, 31 votes into this poll, Noel has drawn exactly zero support. I wonder whether other fan bases are as apprehensive as we are. I'm starting to think he could drop more than people are anticipating.
IF Noel is still there at #5, we will definitely pick him. If not for us, certainly in context of a trade.

I think most people assume he'll be gone, and are voting for the most realistic option. (At least that was my take)
I don't like any of our PF/C players for the rebuilding effort. Gortat is the best and he's soft going to the basket, fades down the stretch of the regular season and doesn't play that hard - plus he's a bit elderly.
While this draft is overall quite weak its got a good number of bigs who can defend and to me thats the cornerstone of a team that can succeed in the playoffs. I wouldn't mind us drafting three of them if we could get a couple of picks in the teens and take either Noel or Len at #5, assuming the training staff gives a thumbs up. I like Dieng and Adams after those two. If we only got one I'd take Withey at #30 if he's still available or maybe with a pick in the 25 range. Plus I'd still pursue Thomas Robinson. I know four new guys is a lot to take on but we have time to sort them out - and we don't want to be good the first year.
my lord...if we draft Zeller.
I think Muscala might end up being better than Adams. He has the more polished game and the same height and weight.
I honestly don't see much of a difference between Porter and Dudley. High IQ basketball players who will never be anything more than a role player because of very limited athleticism.
The 2nd best player on the Heat has been Dwayne Wade. The 2nd best players on the Lakers have been Gasol and Kobe (1999-01)I honestly dont see much of a similarity between Porter and Dudley. Porter is good enough to be the second best player on an NBA championship team. Dudley is a very good role player, Porter will be a borderline star.

You think Porter's good enough to be on that level? I'm sorry but that's ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. We're talking about HOFers here.
I think the bottom line for me is that as long as Noel is off the board at #5 there will be somebody I would be happy with available there. I really can't even come up with an order of preference between Oladipo, McLemore, Len, and Porter. If they got one of those four and Dieng I would feel great. Outside of those 4 I would probably have to convince myself to be happy with our draft.
I just hope the McDonagh can put together a roster that is rich enough with young potential to keep this season interesting while making sure we are bad enough to have a great shot at one of those top three draft picks. I mean I don't know why I'm excited to have a great shot at the top three. If there are 3 superstar players in next year's draft we will get picked #4 regardless of the odds. I have no doubt about that.

Cody Zeller in strong consideration for Charlotte (4), Phoenix (5), sources say. If McCollum goes 6 or 7, Detroit has Zeller high on board.

The Cavaliers are choosing between Nerlens Noel and Alex Len at No. 1. If they pick Len, Noel could drop to Suns at No. 5.

I don't see it. Before I get into, I said before that I think Dudley is about the same Porter and you disagreed. Can you explain how Porter's better?
I'm not arguing the point cause I haven't watched Porter much and mostly know about him from watching scout videos and the draft prospect pages.
