If the Cardinals aren't excited about the prospects of any of the QB's from the FA list, I like Mitch's idea to aquire a QB as part of a trade deal involving Boldin.

not me. If Boldin gets traded, i want starters,or potential starters(high draft picks) in return.

Of those listed, Carr. I would trust Pennington to come in mid-game and not screw up more than just about anyone else, though.

With what Matt showed this year and the list of QB's available, can you see any combo that would be able to lead this team to the playoffs? IMO the cards draft a QB Day 1 and make matt compete with maybe a Pike from CU who i think will be a great NFL QB.

So we spend a 1st round pick on a QB and ignore the glaring weaknesses we have on defense? (the nly pick on day 1 is the first round this year)...oh and Pike is not going to be a good pro QB, at least not for a long time...he has a ton of flaws.

Agreed!

There doesn't seem to be much out there this off season. It looks like the Cardinals defense is going to have to be quite a bit better next year to go for a 3rd straight divisional title. Might as well use the picks and $ to go after defense this off season, but it will be interesting to see what QB the Cardinals do go after.

I just don't understand this logic at all. This is Leinart's team the following season. Probably somebody will be brought in, but I think that will only be as a backup.
The way I see it, if Leinart does good as a fulltime starter all season long, then great, he might be the future of this team, he gets a new contract and everyone is happy.
If Leinart doesn't do well, then it would automatically translate into a high draft pick and then you get your future quarterback next year, when you can choose between the most talented quarterbacks in the draft.

Seems to me there is one obvious choice....the Steeler connection, Charlie Batch.

I'd take Redmon unless Pennington was TOTALLY healthy.
