If it makes ASU fans feel any better at least you can rest easy knowing that UofA is crapping the bed on it's coaching search.

There is new optimism for Sumlin right now. I'm confident in saying that every single candidate, with the exception of Helfrich, who's likely out of the running, is a better college coach than Herm Edwads.

Love how you continue to lower the bar for Herm... [emoji106]

I would prefer to say they are known commodities over Edwards, Herm could shock the world or flame out like most expect, won’t know for sure for a couple of years. The Troy HC is intriguing because Troy is a small school power that has churned out a lot of NFL talent over the years. A CB I like in this year’s draft is from Troy, Blace Brown.

Next year is going to suck.

This whole Sun Devil coaching thing has left me bewildered.

It's sort of like intentionally driving the family car into a tree with the hope it comes out a sports car.

Neal Brown would be an excellent coach in Tucson. Instantly the best coach in the State

Neuheisel was never a serious candidate.

Sumlin's problem is that he says he needs this huge assistant pool of money to take the job. But what him and his agent don't realize is that the programs that have the cash to pay for that assistant pool would never hire him.

Man the UA search has become a roller coaster. Sumlin, Miles, Troy HC, Sumlin and now Slick Rick.

It isn't really. Target #1 and #2 remain on the board.Guys like Neuheisel and Miles were never really serious candidates. A lot of media fodder. IMO, when you hire search firms, there tends to be calculated leaks for one reason or another.
