He is just 6'4 , not the frame to put up pounds, not really athletic, ALLIGATOR arms. He is going to be undersized and will have trouble on defense as well as shooting over taller players.

I Don't think Redick will have a problem shooting over defenders.

Guys with quick releases usually don't have that problem, and Redick has one of the quickest releases in basektball.

His shot really is a thing of beauty.

His biggest problem would be guarding guys 6'6 and taller that play SG.

But thats what we have Raja for, Redick wouldnt be on the floor for a big defensive possesion.

The same way we deal with Nash and Barbosa's poor defense, we can find a way to deal with Redick's if we selected him.

Thats the reason i want a real shotblocker on this team, they hide those huge mistakes by your guards.

At 10 or 13, I don't want to see Redick or Sene. Patrick O'Bryant is another player in that range who makes me very nervous.

At 21, no thanks to Redick, Farmar, Kyle Lowry, Mardy Collins, or either of the Michigan State guards. I don't like Rondo here either, but I'm starting to warm to Quincy Douby a little.

At 27, I'd be pissed with Collins, Lowry, Joel Freeland, Paul Millsap, James Augustine, Dee Brown, Steve Novak or Pittsnogle.

Just curious, why not Farmar?

I don't think he's ready for the NBA yet. He seems a bit undersized, he didn't seem to fit the mold of the Suns style with his game. We do need to address the backup to Nash problem, but I don't think Farmar is the right fit.

Even before Nash is done, we need to decide if we want to play the same style after he is gone, or go a different direction. I think in th next few years, many college teams will be playing a style similar to the suns, and then maybe we can pick someone up for the future.

This year we need someone who can come in and spell nash, but get shots when he needs to. I feel like Farmar still needs to develope his game more.
