Who would be Your team if Cards never moved to AZ

Mine would probably still be the Chargers, which was my team before the Cards. I must be a glutton for punishment as far as the NFL is concerned. I grew up a Cowboy fan in Dallas, along with the Dallas Texans/K.C. Chiefs. At least I got a taste of what it is like to have a winning team when I was a kid.

Probably Houston. Grew up in Cowboy country, so I'd naturally cheer for the "other" Texas team.

Patriots. They were my team until '88. My family is from the Boston area so I grew up a Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics & Pats fan.

I have zero ties to the state of AZ; just loyal to the team.

Was a Steelers fan in the 70s. (tough choice, I know!), but my neighbors had just moved from PA and their son, my best friend was a rabid steelers fan, so I went along for the ride.

I was a casual Niners fan until 92 or 93 but in reality, I was focused on the Suns 99% of the time.

Honestly, I probably wouldn't follow the NFL as closely. I am a hometown sports kinda guy so if we didn't have one, I wouldn't have followed any team.

As much as I hate to say it, it would probably be the 49ers. Actually the 49ers were one of my favorites to follow until the Cards joined the NFC West.

Those were some great games. Raiders (Heidi game) and Ben Davidson, Al Atkinson and Chiefs with Hank Stram and Co..... and of course Colts...

I'm another fortunate to be a life long Cardinals/Cardinals fan. So still would be a red it'd fan if they were in St Louis or Birmingham or wherever. Fortunately the baseball Cardinals more than make up for the football team.

Can't imagine how much it must suck to be a Cubs/AZ Cardinals fan.

If the Cards had not come an expansion team eventually would have and those without pre-AZ ties to the team would likely be a fan of the Arizona Scorpions, Goat Ropers, or some other Southwestern nickname.

Green Bay Packers. I grew up watching them as a kid and was always a huge Brett Favre fan. They're still my 2nd favorite team

Moved to AZ 21 years ago from SoCal. Was a Ram fan before moving here. Don't really know who I would be following since the Rams moved out of LA. Probably the Chargers.

Lived in Oklahoma during my young years. Dallas Cowboy fan true and true. Always enjoyed watching the Cards twice a year during Hart/Metcalf/OJ.

Being a sooner and cowboy fan I didn't understand losing.

Moved to Phoenix in 86. In 87 the Cards moved in. Been a fan day one.

Heck with Lomax/Green/Stump and a 7-4 start I thought I had moved to heaven.

Let's just leave at that...

Patriots. My wife is from the area and I was stationed in Mass for 9 months in 72/73 and caught a couple of games while there (my first live NFL experience). Steve Grogan did his best to cure me of my Patriots habit but it stayed with me even up to now. They are a distant second to the Cards but the gap between them and number 3 is huge.
