Nice. Too bad you provide absolutely nothing to backup your opinion. Mine is that they coulkd stockpile picks by selceting him and then cut him. He becomes a FA and they dont have to pay the salary.

My understanding is that the guaranteed contract remains valid and the expansion team is only responsible for contracts of players that actually make the team. For the original team, it is as if they waived the player except for the cap effect.

Suns DID trade Big Jake and Outlaw for White, Archibald and Trybanski.
Why isn't comparing the two packages a fair comparison when their salaries and contracts are equal?
We also traded Archibald for Harvey...

I would much rather have Harvey & White over Big Jake & BO... for skillz & Pay.

He's the autograph specialist. :D

Actually the comparison was with Harvey, not White.

So you could have acquired also Harvey with Outlaw and Big Jake if it would have been that important.

BTW, don't forget that probably also Harvey will be gone at the end of the season, he is just an injury reserve.

Ok, Donnell Harvey made this team fantastic.
That's why Suns traded Marbury for cap relief and picks and that's why will Harvey probably leave the Suns this summer.

Well, Big Jake and Bo Outlaw certainly didn't make this team "fantastic" either. If you think they did, then perhaps you need to watch games more.

No, they didn't.

That's why I liked the Outlaw-trade.

Since White didn't make either that's why I did not like the White-trade.

If you think that Napoleon has won the 2nd World War then perhaps you need to read about history more.

haha, Chaplin is right, maybe you should try "WATCHING" afew games before you comment.

We didnt give up a second for Harvey, we SWAPED seconds, so it is a wash.

If you think Big Jake is on the same scale as White you are crazy. White is no superstar, but he makes more impact, not to mention more tuffness & hustle that Jake did.

Harvey has been a pleasnt suprise. Try watching him somtime. He will be an excellent PF to bring off the bench for some energy.

Of course they do. I just did, you arrogant turd.

Maybe I'm wrong. Thanks for addressing it. Do so the first time, and without being a jerk, and Ill always concede. Not with some lame ass patronising responce like "They could and the answer would be no" with no backup as to WHY it would be no.

I was under the impression that the CBA had a loophole that if you lost a player to the expansion draft, the other team doesnt even have to have the player make the roster. They cut him and he becomes a UFA, and both teams do OK. The catch being that teams will bribe the expansion team to take a bad salary from them.

If I'm wrong, and I have been oddles of times before, Im sorry for disgracing the board with an incorrect assumption.

You though are an arrogant SOB, who maybe doesnt have a great handle on the enlgish language and whose attitude might be misconstrued because of it. I dont know. But you DO regularly come off like a jerk. Here included.

Thats funny it seems you are defending YOUR own point, and more of us are against you that in favor.

Huh, sorry, big difference.
I think that you proved your point.
Very good job.

If you think Big Jake is on the same scale as White you are crazy.
If you think otherwise you are crazy.

Harvey has been a pleasnt suprise. Try watching him somtime.
I have seen him.
Anyway thanks for the suggestion!
It was great one.

He will be an excellent PF to bring off the bench for some energy.
You mean bring off the bench after Cabarkapa and Lampe?
For 26,7 seconds per game?
Great idea.

But one more time, if Harvey is such a great pickup we could have acquired him anyway it would not have needed any additional moves.

It's not his fault... Hiding behind a computer screen gives alot of people big mouths for no reason.

White is definately more productive than Big Jake. He uses his body much better and likes to bang.

Harvey looked good since he is here. We gave up nothing to get him.
We gave Orlando a future 2nd round pick and they gave us a 2nd round pick for Archibald.

Zarko will play more SF to give Marion a rest...

Lampe is a CENTER...

Again, try watching the games more, then you might figure out the problem here...

And that's why Colangelo said that one of the reasons of the Outlaw-trade was to clear PT for Cabarkapa at backup PF.

Lampe is a CENTER...
Lampe is a NATURAL POWER FORWARD.
.

You are very creative with your suggestions.
Probably you got the idea from watching games that Lampe is a C.
