Lesean McCoy never rushed for 2000 yards in a season. Powell will this year.

lol, yeah until he is the next McCoy, then the ******** management here gave him away for next to nothing

You sound like a hoarder. Your house must be overflowing with junk that youre convinced is priceless treasures and things that will eventually be useful.

Hes not the next Mccoy. Hes not the next anything. Is this a joke. This is exactly how you build teams to medicocrity by being convinced your roster is chalk full of HOFrs.

The guy is running over players in the PRESEASON. Guys who wont even be in the NFL in 2 weeks.

I don't think he sees this guy necessarily as a treasure, but that he has shown some potential and we should keep him as the 4th running back. Odds are that he will never amount to anything, but there is certainly a better chance that he could be a good player than there is for Smith. Therefore we should hold onto this guy as our 4th back.

Yes, gamble on good or get what you know is close to average as a backup. We have seen Smith be a somewhat average back who knows the system well enough in a regular season and do you gamble that when that is what most expect as a fourth back instead of gambling on a guy who lit up the preseason against second and third team defenses. Though, I would keep Powell too because I support Vince Young as QB and that makes me freaking way the hell out there....WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

If Powell runs for 300 yards this season, it will represent his best season since rushing for 960 or so yards at Navarro JC.

Good point. With his fresh legs, he will be the first to top 2500 yards in a season.
